I really like your reviews.. they are always proffessionally made - describing each cube clearly and accurately. I also like how you included every brand in the market, giving a very accurate overview of each brand and their cubes. You always make such high quality reviews which is one of the reasons why I love this channel :)
45 degree cutting is not necessary. Honestly to the first line is highly sufficient. If you have to cut a whole half of a turn, it probably means your turning is really inaccurate, in which case you probably won't get good times anyways.
SportsGamingCubing I think most people don't really care about over-45 degree corner cutting except for bragging purposes, people care about how hard you need to turn the layers to corner cut. Imagine you're off by 15 degrees on your LL and you just kept choking because of that 15 degree misalignment.
+HekTik Not exactly. Corner cutting is demonstrated while the cube is stable. While solving and flexing the extra amount of flexibility allows multiple pieces to move and can actually lead to more binding and catching in the end.
Mark Tayman oh yeah, the caps arent normal, they aren't just a millimeter thin like other cubes, they are about a 1/4 inch so you have to reach down really far to get them off.
Totally agree with your comments on the Yuxin 3x3. I really like that cube with the stock springs, and I still solve on it somewhat regularly. When you swap in the Maru soft springs that everyone talks about, it turns the cube into a loose, floppy mess.
Well, I can't seem to be able to make even 90º turns with the very tight tensions on the Rubik's brand one. And forget about M turns! You either have very strong fingers or my cube was defective. And it's not the tensionable type, so I can't change the tensions.
which cube should I get I am having trouble deciding please help moyu aolong v2, qiyi thunderclap v1, qiyi thunderclap v2, yan 3, or the valk 3 ? please help
I'm back lol. What stickerless 3x3 would you recommend? I want easy to distinguish colors, and a good cube in general. Also a fair price. What is the cube exactly at 17:42?
+ItsCozmo That is the GuoGuan YueXiao. Those are the old stickerless "half bright" shades and now have replaced hen with bright shades not the new version. I have a video comparing Old and new shades of the YueXiao on the channel.
+Zen Lim Both can be nice. Many people use the YueXiao as their main. The Air will be quite a bit smoother and you will have more options for tensions and flexibility with the spring sets though.
+Zen Lim I'll have a budget comparison out later this month. I think that would be the best thing to watch to decide. I talk about at the end though a good budget one.
should i get a dayan zhanchi? i am a 30-35 second solver with a rubiks brand cube i tried a shengshou 3x3 but my times raised by 10 seconds and it popped and locked up a lot so i dont wanna waste my money again
+i have no life cubing Shengshou makes nice cubes. The Aurora was a main of mine until I was around 18 seconds and the new FangYuan could easily be a cube used to break world records. If anycube just pops and locks it is either from inaccurate turning or the cube was extremely too loose. I give my final thoughts at the end of the mega comparison video.
+Clint Denudt No cubes really pop, are great at corner cutting, and can be fast. Remember that the speed of the cube does not relate to speed of solves and most cubes that are extremely fast are slowed down with thick lube by cubers. On the website there are links to different places to buy the cube or just in the description there is a link to a shop and a 10% discount code. Check out the cubes at the end of the video for my final recommendations.
Well, Catching has to do more with inaccurate turning than anything. A cube like a TangLong is more stable but not as fast out of the box as something like a Valk. Something like a Gan Masters edition comes with different springs so you could use that to find a balance.
+Flash Cuber I say at the end what the controllable one is. "Slow" is subjective and often what cube is considered slow does not mean is os solved slower.
Hi, i have a question about the gts m. I tried making one last night but it failed horribly and it doesn't align right. did you gauge it by looking at it or did you move the pieces around that you just glued instead of eyeing it? I made a valk m but that has a different way of glueing
+raghav agarwal that depends what feeling you prefer. The GT is 57 mm in heavy, the MeiYing 56mm is a bit lighter and more flexible, the GTS is quite flexible and 56.5 mm and the GuoGuan is similar to he MeiYing but abbot less airy.
Yuxin actually has 3 different plastics. I have the one with the green core, which one do you have? I have a review on my channel about the one with a green core, and that is the best version of the yuxin 3x3. Yuxin recently changed theplastic to make it faster and also an orange core, but that one actually feels worse.
+LochLeo Any cube can be made looser. None squared off hornets may have increased twisting and looser tensions will influence that. Smooth is something you can make with lube but the Gan 356 and the older Shengshou Aurora are the most smooth out of the box.
+Evelina Giakoumaki The Gan cubes will be quieter because of the screws in the pieces what th the v2 having the most structure to them. Lube and magnets will also dampen sound
I'm using the original rubiks brand still and I'm waiting for my warrior w to come in the mail, I average about 40 seconds, how much improvement can I reasonably expect just with getting a real speedcube?
+Travis Evans There is no measure. I can use a Rubik's brand and have solves be just a second or two different and being under 20 seconds. I hear people exaggerate saying they cut their times in half.
how r u able to put words in your viedo or what app do u use for example if u say something wrong u can write it on the screen and tell them what u mean so how do u do that
I really liked the Shengshou aurora. Would it be more or less an intermediate cube or advanced? I got a rubiks cube for Christmas, and I am really enjoying solving it. I got the beginners method down and moved to F2L. I don't like the quality of the cube i have and would like to get a few speedcubes. I would like to buy more than one, just to start a small collection and have options for when i wanna practice, I also would like a 2x2. What suggestions would you have, for i am a tad overwhelmed at the amount of options, I am looking to spend around $25 USD
+Roy Vinson Jr I used the Aurora until about 20 seconds. At that point I felt Liam's I wanted something a bit more flexible. It can feel overwhelming which is why I made these videos. Check out the few at the end of the videos. You really can't make an ad choice and later you can start getting a few to experiment to find what feeling you prefer.
The quietest of the newer cubes is the Gan 356s v2. When you add magnets a lot o the cubes get quieter because of the added weight to the plastic. Pretty much any cube is equally as fast at this point and can be made quite smooth.
What cube is the most quiet? The current one that I have has that loud plastic on plastic rubbing noise and I can’t use it at work. Any recommendations?
Shengshou Aurora but it is quite old school. Something with magnets like the GTS2 and then a lot of light lube like Lunar or Nebula will mask the sound well.
I use a weilong gts I love the speed and i can control it well . What is something that is more buttery smooth and that doesn't lock up and is around the same speed. Any suggestions? If
+sebastian gomez remember the lock ups are the cause of inaccurate turning. You might want something that's a little less flexible and fast that will allow you to turn more slowly and accurately. Maybe just getting some heavy lube and adding a drop or two while also tightening the tensions to work on turning accuracy might be best.
+Tactical Pickle gaming V cubes moves well but does not corner cut well. Anything I mention is fine and the cubes at the end would be the best to look at.
SpeedCubeReview k thanks i am going to get the last one because i am tight in money also i like your channel i looked at you channel good videos so i am going to sub
Yes you can get sub-10 on any of them but if your using the Dayan GuHon, which is not the best cube, and averaging 9 - 10 seconds, go to the WeiLong GTS and you will probably start averaging 8 - 9 seconds.
I really like the Gans 365 Air, but there is one thing that killed it for me. I hate the different tensioned nuts. It's a good idea, but in my experience, the nuts strip very easily when tensioning the cube, making it too easy to unscrew, leading to one of the centers popping off if I turn that center counter-clockwise too much while solving. The cube turns great, though. I personally use the regular or yellow nuts.
what's the best cube for the price? I'm a beginner (solved my first cube last week, was instantly hooked, and taught myself CFOP the next day). I average about a minute with an original Rubik's cube. I don't want to spend over 30$. any suggestions?
Pretty much none of these are that much money. You can save 10% also by using my discount code for the shop linked in the description. I have a mega comparison of budget cubes that came out a couple weeks after this. They are also nice puzzles all for under $5. On average for these you would be spending around $15. The ones I talk about at the end of the video are my more highly recommended.
but the speed is the same? i tried light cubes that are either fast and light(gans 356 if i remmember correctly) or light and slugish(i dont really remember which one it was i think it was an older moyu or yj) so yea, which one is faster?
SpeedCubeReview okay, thanks for clarifying. It's so nice to finally have a 3x3 comparison thats ACTUALLY UP TO DATE (sorry, I've been looking for a video for a while)
I gave mine to a friend for the day to practice and it came back all scratched and one of the stickers was ripped a little. Sad, but it shows that it's used.
if i like the fast cube, faster than yuexiao, less scartchy feeling or crunchy, not loud (not important) what cube should i get. im thinking of weilong gts or valk 3
Real Cuber the yuexiao is much faster but more controllable than both of my weilong gts. The gts locks up a lot mainly during simple oll and pll algorithms. I haven't tried a valk yet so I can't comment about that.
+ThePotatoChurner Most cubes are all around $15. Check out the few at the end I talk about. I have had one AoLong pop in over 10,000 solves. If it is popping I would tighten your tensions and be a bit more accurate in your turning. It is one of he heaviest cubes on the market though.
I don't want a gans 356 air just because relies uses it but I prefer a fast but smooth turning and it will motivate me more because know I use a weilong gts and is too scratchy and loud so thx for the review
+Taramalan that's not a real thing. Sort of. The "s" is just something they added when they change the center caps on the 356 before the air even existed. Every single version of the puzzle has those caps now and that is why they don't even use that letter in describing the puzzle
Ok, so I'm looking for a cube that isn't very flexible and moves moderately quick. I had a friend in high school who had a million different cubes, and he was very much into speed cubing, but I found many of his to fast, I have also tried an original Rubic's brand cube and am very much not a fan of it's sort of "cuthunking." I'm not looking to become any kind of serious cuber, so I don't want anything that needs to be lubed up or tightened, I just want something that is good out of the box. catching drives me insane, and from what my small amount of research has shown, 45 degree corner cutting seems to be ideal. Basically I'm looking for a very stable cube that moves fairly well, but not so well that it goes flying at the twitch of a finger, out of box without any need of lubricant or adjustment of the internal mechanisms. What cube should I get?
+Ardin Helma It sounds like a TangLong might be what you are looking for. It's quite stable but was even used to break a world record. Remember catching had more to do with inaccurate turning than the cube itself.
What is the feeling of the guoguan yuexiao and weight? I have valk 3 white and it is my main! :) I like lighter cubes and also I have moyu aolong v2 It's pretty good but it's too heavy not super heavy but it's my backup main! :)
In general, which one is better for its price. Thunderclap or Fangyuan? An honest review, not just blindly overrating thunderclap like everyone else, as you said fangyuan is amazing as well. So which of the two would you suggest?
+toshiro hitsugaya Check out the last part of the video. (I have a time stamp in the description). That will help out most. Remember that I said you can be under 10 seconds with pretty much any of these cubes. There is no "best" and they are all good.
+toshiro hitsugaya Nice. Any of these cubes are great. Check out the end of the video for my final thoughts. If here is something you don't like about your current cube that can help decide what you might prefer
+Poltoid I will be doing techniques for HoYa method in the future but currently have a playlist for some 4x4 stuff already. For Winter Variation I only know about half of it but at some point I plan to do that.
+Jerson Antigua Sone of the lightest ones today are the Thunderclap, MeiYing, and Yan3. The Air is the lightest of the ones I show at the end with the ultimate edition being even lighter.
I can't speak for one or the other but SpeedCubeShop is in California. Check out the link in the description. You can save 10% there with the discount code.
+Farhans Alfrz All three are nice. I suggest looking at reviews I've done in the past and comparisons will help you find what you may like best. I get pretty much exact same times on each.
Cyclone boys 01:42
Dayan 03:12
Fangshi 05:28
Gans 08:00
Moyu 12:15
Qiyi 19:13
Rubik's brand 22:12
Shengshou 23:11
YJ 24:11
Yuxin 24:26
Recommend cube 25:40
+Yusuf Chandra Thank you!
+SpeedCubeReview no problem
Yusuf Chandra thank you. You made my life easier. I want to like this comment 1 million times.
is the very first Shengshou he mentioned available? the most quiet one. id like to buy one but can't find it.
+Roy Vinson Jr they have a white one still here bit.ly/2i2mm4p

SportsGamingCubing well if you have a lot of corner cutting then catches are limited.
+HekTik Not exactly. Corner cutting is demonstrated while the cube is stable. While solving and flexing the extra amount of flexibility allows multiple pieces to move and can actually lead to more binding and catching in the end.
i think the thunderclap should have been the cheaper option at around 27:30, not the shengshou
Speed Cube Sam yes i agree but i just got a thunderclap for christmas and spent about 2 hours trying to get the caps off but still cant
Mark Tayman oh yeah, the caps arent normal, they aren't just a millimeter thin like other cubes, they are about a 1/4 inch so you have to reach down really far to get them off.
Speed Cube Sam i know they are practically impossible to get off
Really? I have it as my main and I find it fairly easy to get off
Been waiting for this hope you are enjoying your holidays
I want a fast but smooth 3x3 any suggestions ?
Any can be fast and smoothness comes more from lubrication.
FIRST!
okeh
SpeedCubeReview i was ray co the one chatting with you 😂😂😂
I released it an hour early because of that. lol
What abt the GuoGuan YueXiao?
yuexiao is my main
Totally agree with your comments on the Yuxin 3x3. I really like that cube with the stock springs, and I still solve on it somewhat regularly. When you swap in the Maru soft springs that everyone talks about, it turns the cube into a loose, floppy mess.
This videos is so helpful. Thank you so much. I have been at wanting to get some new 3x3s and this videos helped me decide which ones to get

Nice video Shawn! I was about to buy a new 3x3 and really needed this.
which cube should I get I am having trouble deciding please help moyu aolong v2, qiyi thunderclap v1, qiyi thunderclap v2, yan 3, or the valk 3 ? please help
valk 3 but the usual answer everyone says is choose whatever fits you the best
Kevdog 18 I use valk 3 its really good
Kevdog 18 Moyu Aolong v2
Just not thunderclap v2
Valk 3
I'm back lol.

SpeedCubeReview if I have a budget, which one is worth more of my money?
+Zen Lim I'll have a budget comparison out later this month. I think that would be the best thing to watch to decide. I talk about at the end though a good budget one.
Thanks :)
I waited so long for this. Thanks!!!
wow the aurora sounds soo smooth. nice
They are currently mass producing the ultimate. It is being sold on cubedepot and speedcubeshop for around 40USD.
+Calvin Ma I already have one in order. There are not a ton being made yet though since each one has a lot of work done to it.
should i get a dayan zhanchi? i am a 30-35 second solver with a rubiks brand cube i tried a shengshou 3x3 but my times raised by 10 seconds and it popped and locked up a lot so i dont wanna waste my money again

What is this algorithm he uses when showing it and solving it or generally what does he do?
always provides great content! happy new year, man! :)
Is rubik's brand speed cube (the one which they made with Gan) good for intermidiate?
What exactly is the yuxin near the end?
should i get a thunderclap v2
what kind of cube do you recommend for me that is very very fast is very very good at corner cutting and pieces does not do pops out

most awaited video!!!
If you have a weilong GTS is it worth it to get the dual adjustment core?
At the cubical how long does it take to get the cube shipped
+CN Gaming It depends on where it is going. I link to SpeedCubeShop in the description where you can save 10%
I hate cubes that are too flexible. I like having high speed. Catches annoy me. Which should I get?
Well, Catching has to do more with inaccurate turning than anything. A cube like a TangLong is more stable but not as fast out of the box as something like a Valk. Something like a Gan Masters edition comes with different springs so you could use that to find a balance.
Thank you!
Is there a difference between the warrior and warrior w lol?
Haven't seen videos on the regular warrior probably because I haven't looked it up
+Pokyn yes. Very much so. The old warrior is a very different design and very basic compared to the W
Have you reviewed the Xtimer X-V6? Seems popular on amazon. But I wonder if it's just a rebrand of another cube.
+badbob001 interesting. It seems like a rebranded KungFu but I can't tell for sure.
Which cubes are the most controllable but not too slow?
+Flash Cuber I say at the end what the controllable one is. "Slow" is subjective and often what cube is considered slow does not mean is os solved slower.
Thanks for replying!
Can you do a 2x2 comparison
Hi, i have a question about the gts m. I tried making one last night but it failed horribly and it doesn't align right. did you gauge it by looking at it or did you move the pieces around that you just glued instead of eyeing it? I made a valk m but that has a different way of glueing
+Kaiology The first two magnets guided the others. Just like I show in the video.
what is the name of the cube exactly at 23.12
for me the thing that matters most to me is speed (because I have a light turning style) and reverse corner cutting.
I'm having trouble deciding what cube to get the valk 3, gans air, weilong gts, or the qiyi thunderclap which one should I get help plz
+Kevdog 18 I can't give you that answer.
black cyclone boys ?
Qiyi thunderclap is pre good for a cheap cube but u have to adjust tensions or it will pop abit
which cube should i buy aolong gt , congs design meiying, weilong gts or guoguan yuexiao ??
+raghav agarwal that depends what feeling you prefer. The GT is 57 mm in heavy, the MeiYing 56mm is a bit lighter and more flexible, the GTS is quite flexible and 56.5 mm and the GuoGuan is similar to he MeiYing but abbot less airy.
Why does the Aolong V2 have a Cubeoligist logo on it?
Because it’s from him from a contest.
Yuxin actually has 3 different plastics. I have the one with the green core, which one do you have? I have a review on my channel about the one with a green core, and that is the best version of the yuxin 3x3. Yuxin recently changed theplastic to make it faster and also an orange core, but that one actually feels worse.
I have multiple versions. I never felt a big difference between them, even with the spring swaps.
SpeedCubeReview idk why, I felt a huge difference after setting up and breaking in.
I just started learning cfop so what would be a good cube for because i only have a rubiks brand cube
+Darkness_Gamer_FTW Any. Check out my final thoughts at the end. There is no "best"
i want one with light fast turning yet controllable and stable.which should i get?
+Akis Karathanasis That could be any of these. At the end of the video I limit it down to ones that have a bit more or less stability.
well...Between air,GTS2 and GuoGuan YueXiao which one is closest to what i mentioned?
+Akis Karathanasis both of those cubes are quite flexible. If you want something that is much more stable you might not like either of those
I want a smooth, loose and not much corner twisting but no squared off corners
I dont know what cube i should get
+LochLeo Any cube can be made looser. None squared off hornets may have increased twisting and looser tensions will influence that. Smooth is something you can make with lube but the Gan 356 and the older Shengshou Aurora are the most smooth out of the box.
I was thinking about the chufeng
Also the shengshou aurora was my first ever cube
(Im sub 14)
By loose i mean flexible and fast
I have a weilong gts and i was wondering if i should get the valk 3 or the gans air. I like fast and pretty flexible.
+TreeTop That's already a fast and flexible cube. Both of the other two are nice as well. You times should be pretty much the same on each
Ok Thanks!!!
I want a silent fast and smooth cube. What do you suggest?
Gans 356 air
Gans 356 um
Gans 356 sm
Weilong gts
Weilong gts v2
+Evelina Giakoumaki The Gan cubes will be quieter because of the screws in the pieces what th the v2 having the most structure to them. Lube and magnets will also dampen sound
So which one should I get? And is the weilong silent?
+Evelina Giakoumaki No cube is “silent”. If you get the WeiLong, just like Gan you would want to add magnets and lube to dampen the sound even more
Thank you!
i can't find the vault three
Virus_Container valk 3? Try eBay I got mine there
$30 au dollers
I'm using the original rubiks brand still and I'm waiting for my warrior w to come in the mail, I average about 40 seconds, how much improvement can I reasonably expect just with getting a real speedcube?
+Travis Evans There is no measure. I can use a Rubik's brand and have solves be just a second or two different and being under 20 seconds. I hear people exaggerate saying they cut their times in half.
how r u able to put words in your viedo or what app do u use for example if u say something wrong u can write it on the screen and tell them what u mean so how do u do that
+Clint Denudt pretty much any video editing app can do that. There are some free ones like iMovie for Apple and more expensive ones like final cut pro
SpeedCubeReview kk thanks
SpeedCubeReview i forgot to tell u i got the gan 356 ari master
okay i love the gan 356 air but it is so expensive do you know any places that are cheaper than Amazon
+Clint Denudt It is pretty much the exact same price everywhere.
the zhanchi was my first speedcube and I will always love it, its the only buttery one...
Very nice video, definitely my favourite, was very informative when i started out
does this one gets good at reverse corner cutting gan 356 v2 rubix cube
+Clint Denudt They pretty much all do. The 356 is quite flexible allowing for a large range of corner cutting like the Valk, GTS,and other major ones.
I like really fast cubes that are buttery smooth and quiet, what should I get? 56.5 or 56mm is my preferred size.
The quietest of the newer cubes is the Gan 356s v2. When you add magnets a lot o the cubes get quieter because of the added weight to the plastic. Pretty much any cube is equally as fast at this point and can be made quite smooth.
is the valk 3 the best option when coming from a dayan zhanchi
+Michiel Bijlsma There is no "best option" but just what feeling you like. Any of the cubes I mention, especially those at the end are good choices.
SpeedCubeReview I know but I mean does it feel the same as a dayan zhanchi
happy new year shawn
I am a bit confused that which cube I should buy Gans Air or The Valk 3 ?
+satpal singh Solanki Either. Both are good
I'm looking for a speedcube that is controllable, has a feel that isn't smooth and doesn't have squared off corners. Any suggestions?
I go over them in this video. Why would you not want squared off corners?
+SpeedCubeReview I turn pretty rough and the squared off corners catch on the core.
They would only catch if the cube was way too light and if your turning is rough (AKA inaccurate) than every single cube will catch for you.
+SpeedCubeReview Oh, I guess I need to improve my accuracy in my turning!
What will be good for me: I like fast and smooth, I like ganz 356 and Thunderclap V2 but I need a new main...
I don't feel like the Valk is smooth (I've tried my friend's, but he hasn't really lubed it, so it could change with lubrication).
Alex Lu I have a valk that's out of the box and it's as smooth as yuxin cubes
Valk 3
Zephorex Ah, well I'm not too sure then. Perhaps my perception of smooth is different than yours.
Valk 3
25:45 two?
How do you spell the one at 18:50?
+Nicholas Yuen It's this cube th-cam.com/video/dP9AKONNTss/w-d-xo.html
Is the thunder clap a good intermediate cube and fat
+CN Gaming I don't believe in "intermediate" or "advanced" cubes. Check out what I say at the end of the video for more specifics
What is the best "out of box" cube on market?
+Master Of Cubes They are all nice out of the box. It's not like the old days where things really had to be "broken in"
And can you also make a how to live and tenchion vid??
What cube is the most quiet? The current one that I have has that loud plastic on plastic rubbing noise and I can’t use it at work. Any recommendations?
Shengshou Aurora but it is quite old school. Something with magnets like the GTS2 and then a lot of light lube like Lunar or Nebula will mask the sound well.

SpeedCubeReview Any specific cube? If not thank you anyways😀
+sebastian gomez Gan 356 will be one of the smoothest today.
SpeedCubeReview thanks so much:)
i have a v cube 3 i think it is ok it is my first and only cube what should i get i like speed and the scratchy sound but anything good will do
+Tactical Pickle gaming V cubes moves well but does not corner cut well.
What's better: Gans 356 or Gans air
+IS Gaming Neither is better. Air is lighter and less flexible. It depends what you like.
SpeedCubeReview, I'm used to a Moyu along v2 . Is the Gans 356 more or less flexible?
+IS Gaming much more flexible.
SpeedCubeReview thx
I still like good old MoYu WeiLong....
what's the best cube for the price? I'm a beginner (solved my first cube last week, was instantly hooked, and taught myself CFOP the next day). I average about a minute with an original Rubik's cube. I don't want to spend over 30$. any suggestions?
Pretty much none of these are that much money. You can save 10% also by using my discount code for the shop linked in the description. I have a mega comparison of budget cubes that came out a couple weeks after this. They are also nice puzzles all for under $5. On average for these you would be spending around $15. The ones I talk about at the end of the video are my more highly recommended.
Vztec v1 Wow u are good learning CFOP in one day then averaging a minute with an original Rubik's cube. You have some potential
Jason Oh thanks :-)
can you compare yuexao to weilong gt? i want to buy one but idk which one
+HyScore556 The YueXiao is lighter and the GTS is a bit more flexible while being a bit scratchier.
but the speed is the same? i tried light cubes that are either fast and light(gans 356 if i remmember correctly) or light and slugish(i dont really remember which one it was i think it was an older moyu or yj) so yea, which one is faster?
+HyScore556 pretty much they both can be exactly the same speed. Check SpeedCubereview.com for how people have voted on them
Which cube should I get the Valk 3 or GTS?
is it true that the weilong GTS has poor sticker quality? if it is, that's a big turnoff for me
+Barely Human Not really. Just when it chipped instead of seeing plastic you would see another white sticker under it.
SpeedCubeReview okay, thanks for clarifying. It's so nice to finally have a 3x3 comparison thats ACTUALLY UP TO DATE (sorry, I've been looking for a video for a while)
+Barely Human :)
yeah. it has bad sticker quality. it has the worst out of all the moyu cubes so far
+Real Cuber Valk will feel most like the YueXiao as far as turning
SpeedCubeReview, My Yeixiao feels nothing like a valk:(
Real Cuber the yuexiao is much faster but more controllable than both of my weilong gts. The gts locks up a lot mainly during simple oll and pll algorithms. I haven't tried a valk yet so I can't comment about that.
I have done about 1000 solves on my Yeixiao and then cleaned it out and lubed it and it is really good
valk 3
I have the Aolong V2 and its pops a lot. It also feels pretty heavy to turn. Looking for a smooth, light, and $15 or less cube. Any Suggestions?
+ThePotatoChurner Most cubes are all around $15. Check out the few at the end I talk about. I have had one AoLong pop in over 10,000 solves. If it is popping I would tighten your tensions and be a bit more accurate in your turning. It is one of he heaviest cubes on the market though.
ok Thanks for your help!
I don't want a gans 356 air just because relies uses it but I prefer a fast but smooth turning and it will motivate me more because know I use a weilong gts and is too scratchy and loud so thx for the review
what about the gans air 356s? please answer
+Taramalan that's not a real thing. Sort of. The "s" is just something they added when they change the center caps on the 356 before the air even existed. Every single version of the puzzle has those caps now and that is why they don't even use that letter in describing the puzzle
Which one is the best for the over 50s ? I can do 30 seconds, want to get it down to 20 before I croak. Could only solve at 1min in 1981! (All true!)
+MrCorfuz your solve times do not matter. You can use any of these puzzles and be under 10 seconds.
What about my age? (51)! Do you know of any other 50plus sub 30s?
Not off of the top of my head but I am sure there are.
What's the best corner cu ting cube?
They all can corner cut over 45 degrees at this point which you will never need in a solve anyway.
SpeedCubeReview. True. Thanks. Also, thanks for replying instantly to my comments. I subscribed
SpeedCubeReview thanks!
What 3 by 3 should I get speed cube review
+CN Gaming Anything you want.
I'm using the roux method and I would like a really quite cube. Which one should I get?
I would really like a shengshou aurora but i was watching a review, and he said M turns are really bad
+Filip Kriznik The quietest cubes right now are Gan with the v2 feeling the most quite for me.
+Filip Kriznik Aurora is a bit clunky by today's standards but it's a fine cubeto practice and learn on
Are the M turns really that bad?SpeedCubeReview
+Filip Kriznik None of these cubes are bad if you work on accuracy.
I'm just starting speed cubing... not sure what to get. I want something good but fairly cheap (under 20$ hopefully) any help?
+PandaNinja5519217 They are almost all under $20. Check the ones at the end of the video.
Is valk is more faster than gans air
Manzar Ali, no gans is quiet and fast
Gans are the best
Suman Siddhanta nope
Suman Siddhanta valk is the best
What is the feeling of the guoguan yuexiao and weight? I have valk 3 white and it is my main! :) I like lighter cubes and also I have moyu aolong v2 It's pretty good but it's too heavy not super heavy but it's my backup main! :)
+Unknown PH It is like a Valk but a little bigger and scratcher. Check out my full review video. That might help the most.
In general, which one is better for its price. Thunderclap or Fangyuan? An honest review, not just blindly overrating thunderclap like everyone else, as you said fangyuan is amazing as well. So which of the two would you suggest?
+Shyen Cormac They are both nice. The Thunderclap is more bubbly and like a light AoLong while the FangYuan is more flexible like a light GTS
SpeedCubeReview so it's safe to say Fangyuan is as good as thunderclap performance wise if not better and definitely no less?
+Shyen Cormac Some people will Definitely like it better while some may like the Thunderclap more
SpeedCubeReview That definitely convinces me to give it a chance. This helped. Thanks. :)
+Shyen Cormac :)
which is the best stickerless speed cube pls
+toshiro hitsugaya There is no "best" but I do talk about that at the end of the video.
Pls name one good stickerless cube big bro,I don't want to regret my decision.pls name any stickerless
+toshiro hitsugaya Check out the last part of the video. (I have a time stamp in the description). That will help out most. Remember that I said you can be under 10 seconds with pretty much any of these cubes. There is no "best" and they are all good.
Big bro I am sub 40 with f2l,2 look I'll and pll
+toshiro hitsugaya Nice. Any of these cubes are great. Check out the end of the video for my final thoughts. If here is something you don't like about your current cube that can help decide what you might prefer
For a cheap cube try the guoguan yuexio or the gans 356 lite
How much should i sell my old weilong gts v1 in US Dollars..PLEASE ANSWER speedcubereview
+ABCuber 2 That's on you. The new ones are now on clearance and depends how much someone wants it.
I keep switching between my valk weilong GTS and Thunderclap v1 and v2
TheDCuber well I only have one 3x3 but I do really want a Valk
TheDCuber Use the Weilong Gts
I can solve a 3x3 in about 40 to 55 seconds, which 3x3 do you think I should get?
+Tran Minh Tue Any
+SpeedCubeReview can you make a tutorial on Winter Variation or on speedy techniques for solving a 4x4? Thank you!
+Poltoid I will be doing techniques for HoYa method in the future but currently have a playlist for some 4x4 stuff already. For Winter Variation I only know about half of it but at some point I plan to do that.
which cube weights lighter??
+Jerson Antigua Sone of the lightest ones today are the Thunderclap, MeiYing, and Yan3. The Air is the lightest of the ones I show at the end with the ultimate edition being even lighter.
Quick question, does the thecubicle.us or speedcubeshop has faster shipping if I live in California?
I can't speak for one or the other but SpeedCubeShop is in California. Check out the link in the description. You can save 10% there with the discount code.
Yeah, it's cool! I'll check out the SpeedCubeShop next time.
Where do you put in the code at check out??
There is a box that says "discount codes"
In your opinion?
+SpeedCubeReview what is recomended & good ? thunderclap v1 or v2 or mf3rs ? thanks :)
+Farhans Alfrz All three are nice. I suggest looking at reviews I've done in the past and comparisons will help you find what you may like best. I get pretty much exact same times on each.
