One of my pet peeves is when street photographers talk about elements of their photos by saying “it tells a story.” They say it about every silly little thing! To me these words don’t mean anything and I think it’s lazy commentary. I really enjoy your commentary and how you describe your thought process when choosing your compositions. Your style is a bit utilitarian, which I think is great.
My rebuttal to that is the term Wabi Sabi. Patina tells a story my friend

I'm so happy the algorithm recommended this channel. Amazing work Adrien! Also thank you so much for sharing the picture settings, many channels don't share what settings were used and those are always helpful for beginners or enthusiasts :)
I'm a pretty amateur street photographer, my reasoning for taking most pictures especially the ones I think turn out good is usually simply, I thought it looked cool lol
nice pics brother. i just got back into cameras again and bought a Sony A7s + 7artisans 35mm f1.4 lens. as someone who shot mostly on 28mm, the slightly tighter FOV is harder than i thought lol so i'm watching thru 35mm street photography videos for inspiration.
Always glad to see new sessions from you. Do you mind me asking what made you pick the a7 over other cameras you usually shoot with in this case? Cheers
Do you now use this instead of the samyang 35mm you have ? Also how often do you use the cinebloom I think u have the 10%? In what cases do you have it on the lens? Love the videos!
I am still in the testing phase but I know that I will keep the Sony, it's better. I actually use the cinebloom only in my talking head shots. For my Broll I really rarely use it and on this video I just added a little bloom in post
Hello sorry I think I should of worded it better, I meant to ask I remember you using the cinebloom I think 10% ( Not sure if u like 20%) in some of your nightime shots witht he Samyang 35mm 2.8. Do you only slap that filter on for when it night time with the neion lights /light bulbs are in pics?@@adriensanguinetti
Love ur videos, remind me of teemu style but during daytime. Also thinking about getting this lens or the 40mm G for my a7iv cuz I kinda got sick of these heavy-dirty fast lenses:/
Thank you for the nice vid once again Adrien :) i see you are using the sony 35 2.8 instead of the samyang 35 2.8. Did you allready use the sony enough to be able to make a comparison between both? From my perspective when watching this video i couldn't tell the diffrence atleast.
Thanks :) I haven't use it enough to make a full comparison but I know the Sony is better and I will keep it. The difference is very small indeed but since it is my most used lens I can justify keeping it and benefit from the few differences (less flare and ghosting, a touch more sharpness,...)
You cut on your resolution that's for sure but you're still left with a pretty big image and if you use a good lens and your focus was on point I think it is totally usable

Thanks for your comment :) Sometimes it is simple indeed and you don't need to justify with storytelling or emotions I think

Really enjoy this style - POV video with ongoing commentary
Really enjoy these types of videos!
Glad you like them!
that woman at 0:45 ran when your raised your camera haha
Really cool stuff, I love your frequent use of the dutch angle.
really like this session it would be nice to add a few post process tips you are using. thanks
I really dig your commentary!
Glad to hear that :)
really enjoyed this one!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the shot at 6:18. I really wish I lived near a safe city like this. I just don't feel safe carrying around my a7 in my city ☹
I think your work is amazing. You’re destined to be one of your TH-cam Giants. How do you get those white borders around your photos ?
Thanks for your comment :)
It’s in my video editing software. I put a white canvas and place my photo on top of it
Incredibly insightful; you have an amazing way of explaining things to your viewers. Keep up the good work!
Another great video . Who makes those clear eyeglass frames.

a very inspirational video! How do you like the 35mm sony compared to the samyang?
I really enjoyed this! Great Stuff! Did you shoot with the Sony or the samyang?
Always glad to see new sessions from you.

I would love a video of you editing your photos so much
Great POV
Which preset pack did you use? very pleasing effect to the eye :)
It's the Sakai Preset from my v2 pack :)
Nice video.
Little question, some of the shots are cropped, right?
Yes, correct, thanks :)
Do you now use this instead of the samyang 35mm you have

thanks very much. love this walk!
3:04 how did you get so close with a 35mm lens?
the footage you see is from an ultrawide camera, he probably just had to extend his arm to put the 35mm lens close to the leaves at the top
Love ur videos, remind me of teemu style but during daytime. Also thinking about getting this lens or the 40mm G for my a7iv cuz I kinda got sick of these heavy-dirty fast lenses:/
Thanks!! Go for it, small and light lenses are the way to go 👍🏻

Shot at 2:07 was my favorite. Good stuff
Thanks!
Excellent video
Thank you very much!
So which one you prefer? This setup or ricoh gr iii?
What camera are you using to record the pov ?
why did you take the eye cup off from the camera?
How can f/4 be that sharp?
When using crop-mode on the a7iv, do you see any quality/resolution differences?
You cut on your resolution that's for sure but you're still left with a pretty big image and if you use a good lens and your focus was on point I think it is totally usable
Do you prefer to use 28-75 Tamrons or 35 Samyangs?
The 35 Samyang 👍🏻
Which of you has seen the dragon's face in the clouds?
3:52
Is it usually this deserted in Hiroshima? I see so few people.
I usually go shoot early which makes it less crowded ^^' and I often go to locations that are not really the city center
@@adriensanguinetti I see. thank you very much.
老师,第一视角用的是什么相机?
u use gopro as a body cam?how Do u know where to point when u explain things.
😎👀
No gyoza, no life
I definitely don't love sony colors
I’m dreaming with a video titled “28mm street photography with the Ricoh GR IV”. 🫠
No idea when that will happen but I would love to do it 😄
