Loved the interaction with the obaachan!
She was so nice! 😄
Love how the lady was interested in what you were doing; such a heart warming interaction. Awesome stuff!
She was so nice, thanks :)
what an expert shooting with lego hands
Haha looking forward to stop using my gloves though ^^'
I have a busy life in Japan.
Your photos are quiet, calming, and engaging. And your youtube is healing. thank you!
Been a while since you popped up on my feed, and I really enjoyed your commentary. As you are walking around, we are hearing your thoughts on what attracted you to the scene and how you compose your images. You've got a natural gift for this type of video.
Amazing photos as always. Also, what a beautiful exchange with that old lady. It was so clear by her facial expressions how much joy she was having in talking with you.
Dear Adrien, I didn’t realize that you are at 27.000 subscribers, I watch your videos since when you where still in Switzerland. When I saw your channel for the first time I told my husband : this guy is good and he is going to grow fast… It was a pleasure follow your journey. Now you are doing so well. Keep going! Molto bravo! Ciao 👍😉
He's not at 27.000 subs, he's at 43.500 subs!
I can tell you have a very special and unique way to see the world. Love seeing your journey!
Thank you for sharing your thought process for each scene. I just stumbled upon this video and your channel, and I loved every single second of it.
Love this type of video. Keep up the good work sir!
This has become my favorite street photography channel, you have an amazing eye and I hope you continue growing and sharing your art! (:
Great video again, like the commentary. It helps for our own pics ideas
The scene at the end was so sweet, I think you made her day! Beautiful shots today! I need to pick up a 50mm for my next trip there, the 27mm was really wide and I struggled a lot with subject separation across all the wider open spaces.
the photo on 13:41 & last two clicks were great 😍
I enjoy a lot you thought process videos because it is really helpful to see how you get awesome shots in daily life areas ! Photography isn't always about fancy places or landscape but light is everything :)
Thank you for taking us with you.
intro so wholesome
Nice cultural exchange there, I think she loved the fact that you took your time with her and explained your thought process as well. Great video as always!
Thanks, she was so nice indeed and curious about what I was doing, in a good way
Good photography and relaxing atmosphere!
Thanks for sharing !
Glad you liked it :)
never gave any consideration of using a prime 50 for street photos so i'm glad that i came across some fine examples from your video. i'm certainly going to give it a try now.
wow. love the videos. quiet and clam photography. i alos base in japan n love photography. definitely learn a lot from your videos
well done! This will immediately make you want to do some street photography! 👍🏻
Beautiful!
It's a very pleasant walk, i'm finding myself really relaxed and interested, you definitely raise my desire to go out and shoot at every angle of city that looks so simple but so full of beautiness. Very nice job.
Glad you liked it and it inspired you :)
man your channel is very good i love it
Glad you like it :)
Light in Japan seems to be so different in such a beautiful way.
Your photos are full of contrast, in a very, very pleasant way. I love your sense for spotting those contrast scenes. Anyway your photos then looks a little bit personalized. Could you share some video, how you are creating such photos (postprocessing)?
New to the channel. Wonderful!
낭만에 감동하고 갑니다
0:22 nice shot
video molto bello! 👋👋
I love the new hairstyle. You’re giving off Namami a little bit😅
Haha trying to grow them for the first time, I don't until when before I go crazy haha
Dope to see the local lady walk up and be interested.
Interesting to hear your thoughts with your image taking. What stood out to me is that you usually have a clear idea for a picture, and then you wait for random person(s) to walk in the frame. Why is that important for you when you have a detailed and interesting composition already?
Good point! Sometimes I admit it is not necessary but also sometimes I know it and take photos without people into them 👍🏻
너무 이쁜 영상
What about a video where you photograph places that were featured in Anime? (Kimi no na wa is a prime example)
Could be nice indeed! But this would require a lot of prep work and travel budget haha
What zone modes and focus areas do you use? Especially when trying to capture a subject with a shallow depth of field?
0:57 the street was very clean.
たまに差し込まれる日本語が上手い!
Very beautiful photos. May I ask which brand of camera you used to take photos in the video?
That's beautiful.. Could you tell me please which camera mode are u using in this video?
日本人です!いつも参考にしてます!
I love your videos! especially color designing:)
I wanna know which lens is this 50mm ?
It's the Sony 50mm f/1.8 lens
Thanks, I am glad you like the videos. It is the Sony FE 50mm f1.8 indeed
Nice!
I have a question about how you expose - you never ETTR, use Zebras (set to 109 lower limit) or the histogram even?
I have recently started doing all three and I think my photos have a bit less noise now.
I don’t know if it is a question or suggestion 😊 but nice video
Thanks, I never use these tools. I always judge by eye and really don't worry about a little bit of noise
As always love the vibe of ur vids! Now I'm curious how did u learn Japanese by yourself? I know there're Genki books, but is there something else u can recommend?
Thanks! I went pretty hard with the mass immersion approach. I did not use any textbook and spent as much time listening and at a later stage reading true, Japanese media made for Japanese
@@adriensanguinetti Alright, I got u! This approach is actually what I used to learn English, but now learning Korean(mainly)/Japanese I feel like I still need to learn some fundamentals in order to start using MIA.
yuh
What camera strap are you using ?
I didn't know there were 7-11 locations in Japan.
Thank you very much .
Poetic Dreaming photos .
Fantastic .

와아 사진 잘찍네
It s always my dream to take street photo in japan (with some chat with nihon jin just like you ;-) )
I really hope Sony is gonna release a new version of the 50mm f1.8 My copy is pretty sharp, but the autofocus is slow, inaccurate and pretty loud. If they could put a better autofocus motor in there then it would be awesome!
😎📸
ITS fullframe lens?
My I ask what gloves you have? They look comfortable but warm.
Got them in Muji in Japan 👍🏻
You may like Naoki Tomita's paintings
How do you record what you are doing? Do you use a Gopro?
Yes GoPro and sometimes my Iphone
👍
Are you shooting in LOG for your B-Roll footage?
Yes, S-LOG3 ;)
@@adriensanguinetti I LOVE IT, OBSESSED.
すごいね
NICE JAPANESE MATE ,
Thanks!
What a lovely lady! :)
She was very nice indeed!
撮っている所で話しかけらるなんて、僕だったら恥ずかしい。 優しいおばあちゃんだけどな。 Nice work! 👍
日本で写真をとる事は他国と違うと思いますか?I am always self conscious when I take photos, but maybe especially in Japan.
The streer is so empty
I'm cuious about the shutter speed and ISO that you often use to shoot moving objects during the day.
Thank you for sharing your thought process for each scene. I just stumbled upon this video and your channel, and I loved every single second of it.
