He was a big time baller. That Detroit team was a treat to watch.
The first championship I can remember. I started calling myself Big Ben.
Sheed couldn't be put down by the system, he was always one of my favs. I think he has more satisfaction now than most.
Nice to see Sheed get respect he deserve. Highly skilled big.
But he ain´t no duncan,KG or giannis
Loved sheed, when he was engaged he was dope
@@michaelroelant7134champion
Duncan didn't like to guard 'Sheed!
@@RakeenCollinsfew PFs had Sheed's range. Outside of Dirk.
He was ferocious. I loved watching him play.
What everyone is seeing in this video he’s been doing since high school I grew up watching him play basketball back then and the drive and potential always been there and he is one of the best basketball players to have ever played the game 💯💯💯💯
Sheed over Draymond all day every day. Watched him at UNC knew right away he was going to be an NBA all-star.
There is no comparison between Rasheed and Mr. Triple Singles.
He had the best turnaround jumper from the block in the entire game. It was un-blockable.
Thing of beauty too. LMA too had it, but Sheed. Man.
Check out the recent interview with Sheed and Wells. He was unselfish on purpose. Wells said he was telling Sheed to go get his like the other premier forwards but Sheed said he didn’t want the offense to be focused around him because if he got hurt the other players would have to do stuff they were not use too. So it wasn’t that he underperformed, he was the ultimate team first player. I still wished he went in more. He had the talent to do so.
Sheed top five or six power forward of all-time.
As a former Jazz fan, I always had the JamBlazer games circles on the calendar.
Sheed & Ben Wallace were monsters.
Brian Williams (rip) and Indiana Davis duo are tough, too . Shed game is legit he can play in any Era
Yup!
oh Man, i missed my idol the real Cool Bad Ass/BadBoy Rasheed Wallace
Dale and, was Antonio related to Anthony? @@reilym979
Sheed was always my second favorite PF after Kemp. Don't understand why he was always so underapriciated
His stats were just solid, not spectacular. Of course I'm sure that's because he was so unselfish and honestly did not care about the spotlight. I don't think there's any doubt he couldn't have been a career-long 20-10 guy.
But frankly, he let his emotions get the better of him with the refs. That and being unselfish, contributed to him having lower numbers than some other superstars
Sheed, Kemp and Mailman. Wonderful fucking days, man to be a bball fan.
Nothing but love 4 bro.
I actually thought he was a hall of famer.
Well he’s in my personal hall of fame then
@@scimbrelo mine as well
At times I feel he doesn't have the numbers to make the HOF. Then you see Michael Cooper and Bobby Jones recently got in. And I think they're deserving as well. It's just that they were largely, subs coming off the bench.
And Rasheed was almost always a starter. Much of that is a testament to how he did not care about stats.
Yea Sheed would eat this boys in todays NBA
Give that man his 🌹🌹
I remember when he got into a beef with rapper E40 back in the day😂
Record hatin snitches
Sheed getting into beefs ??
Nah man, you must have the wrong guy......;-)
Rasheed was the heart of the pistons for a couple years. He's one of my favorite players.
Love to see & here legends talk about my favorite PF EVER!! SHEED the BEAST..the "TRUTH" heavily RESPECTED!!
One of my favorite players no lie.
As an older blazer fan, I believe if the blazers fearured him they would’ve won the championship. He’d be an all great blazer. Loved him!
He definitely my top 5 favorite powers foward of all time hands down!!! I never understood why the hell he not in the hall of fame because he DEFINITELY deserves to be in it!!!
Hall of Fame is too image-oriented; they only want dudes who fit their squeaky-clean image. It's why it took Tim Hardaway so long to get in, because he said he wasn't comfortable with gay people or something decades ago. I'm sure some voters don't like how many techs Rasheed got even though HE WAS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT about the refs being biased against certain players and corrupt.
I can see it either way. But I certainly would not complain if he gets in.
That entire line up of pistons doesnt get the respect they deserve. That era was so much fun. Good times
Ball don't lie. Facts! I was there and seen him play with my own eyes.
This made me so happy. Thank you for making this. I loved Sheed and still do. Such a great player and a good person. Dude got shit on by the media and the NBA. Sheed always a real one. #balldontlie
Rasheed Wallace is my favorite player of all time. Glad to see people talk about him nicely
Yes, Sheed could have been a top tier all time Player but he was more focused on being a team Player even tho he was so talented.
He could do it all, Supreme in the post
Sheed is a legend
We LOVED SHEED in Detroit. He was so passionate. Thats all we want in Detroit, Passion, the rest will fall in line. Its how Detroit does Championships. No superstars.
The numbers dont do Sheed any justice. This dude was a beast
You couldn't be more right. That man was a force.
miss the entire Rose Garden yelling "SHHEEEEEDDDDD" every time he touched the ball.
Rasheed was my favorite player. I agree with everything they said. He didn't get enough touches. He wasn't ever a focal point. Coaches only looked at his techs, not his talent. He gave Tim and KG problems, but was looked at as a really good role player even though he wasn't.
As a Philadelphian, I am proud that Sheed brought the city's attitude to the NBA, and before "trust the process", we had " Ball Don't Lie!" Philly walks the walk.
Used to create custom teams back in the day in NBA Live. Sheed would always be there in my line-up regardless if I needed an athletic line-up, or a one that can stretch the floor.
Great two way player
I love learning about all these other BBall G’s
Sheed was a beast.. Players today dont know how 2004 pistons lockdown the best scorers..
In my E-40 voice "what's that nicca name Rasheed Wallace" lol
Sheed is my favorite PF.
Well balanced game, Played with passion, Talked BiG but backed it up.
KG didn't have his range. TD didn't either. Dirk didn't have his defensive ability. Honestly, Sheed may have been more versatile than all of them. Although he was not as consistent as they were, either.
@@Amick44 I agree. Sheed was the most complete 4 of my generation. He rarely puts the ball on d floor, his high release was nearly unstoppable and he was never lazy on defense. If Sheed had Kobe’s focus and determination all the time.. sky was the limit.
@@NickB5882I also never heard a word about him being a bad teammate. Most of his negative reputation came from persistent arguing with officials.
@@Amick44 IMO.. Sheed is the player you don’t wanna guard, the team mate you’d really like to have and most likely a really cool guy. I’m really glad he has a chip with that BadA$$ Pistons team.
Yo man i love your videos. Thank for uploading this old gold thing. Can I ask you something? Can you please upload a video about chaunsy billups? Thanks
If Sheed really wanted to be the best player on his team, he'd do it. But he wanted to make the team better and win.
And he gets very little credit for that. As he should.
I love this channel. Makes me feel like I am back in the grocery store reading the newest edition of "Slam" magazine. If you know, you know
My superstar from my youth..!
Im from Philadelphia and I know sheed he's a cool guy and yes he'd serve these guys in today's game because they play no defense.💪
BEAST~!
FACTS!! I played ball with some good cats in NC, and they used to laugh at me when I told them Rasheed Wallace was my favorite power forward from a skillset standpoint. He was well rounded for the position. Athletic, big body not scared to bang, great shooter, post up, EVERYTHING. Is he a position coach or anything with any nba teams now? If not, he definitely should be.
No doubt. Lots of people forget Wallace could shoot 3’s. His inside hand would kill “the big men” today.
He may be the most versatile PF of all time.
My fav, you cover some greats
ONE Question, why You all trying to talk about Sheed like he got an attitude problem when we just sorted out the information about the Refs cheating his playing time and than betting on the games! LOL WIERDOS !
My favorite Tar Heel of all time. Oh wait, Ed Cota too.
Rasheed Wallace was the Scott Steiner of basketball
True story:
I bought season ticket package within 5 minutes of the announcement that we got Sheed from ATL. My IMMEDIATE thought was, "We just won the championship - and I'm gonna be there!" I was right. Every game was a party. We mauled EVERYBODY, ..not just Lakers.
KG's statement says a lot. Also because the two had some serious beef going on.
Sheed was TOP 75
Sheed was my favorite Power Forward of that era. And there was Duncan, Garnett, Stoudemire, Nowitzki, Kenyon Martin. Webber. Every night there were good match ups.
In today’s NBA all they wanna do is shoot the 3
Philadelphia King 👑💪💯
i would love to see Sheed’s Air Force One shoe back
RW wore the same shoes (and not the same pair) in every game that he played in and I can't believe that he didn't have his own shoe deal and all he wore was Nike's all white
At some point they made Sheed Air Force 1s. Same shoe with his silhouette printed on basically. Very cool, though
The ball don't lie. 'Sheed had serious game. If only he could have controlled his temper and not gotten so many techs. That being said, he could be the PF on my team any day of the week!
Rasheed Wallace Airforce Ones with custom tilted leg fadeaway shot logo my most prized possession. Misunderstood legend - perfect for Detroit
Me and my homies use to call him the big bad wolf
When Robert Horry puts a stamp on you... #Certified
Ok... this is a Rasheed story. Just something i noticed watching the Lakers vs Blazers WCF. Ron Harper who was a known stutterer got fouled by Sheed. As Ron was walking to the free throw line he says to Sheed" Im gonna make these :)" Rasheed responds....
Shu shu shut up!
ONLY #KG & #DUNCAN COULD HOLD THIS BOY 💯
Besides, Dream Sheed had the nicest post game I ever saw.
RW was a force to be reckon wit on the hardwood
I love your videos. I grew up watching greats of the 60's, 70's and 80's I witnessed the great players. Their skill level was so much better than today. Any of the championship teams of the 80's could beat any team today. Moes Malone would probably get 30 rebounds a game. Pistol Pete would hit 10 n3ptsers a game. I do not enjoy today's game...grEAT ATHLETES WITH soso skill levels.
Sheed would average 29 and 9 a game in today's NBA
DRAYMOND GREEN SAID HE’D STOP THIS HERE 😂😂😂
I concur
SHEEEDDDDDD
Im so happy yall cut Perkins because he know he was about to tell a lie know Rasheed Wallace would kill today Era Basketball.
E40 didn't make an appearance in this doc.Dang
yeah he was on the team that beat a stacked lakers .. he had be nice...! hed also eat guys today for breakfast they not ready for that kind of energy
They said he would get bored
He would hurt a lot of ppl's feelings nowadays...
Facts
even in the 2000s, he would kill if he only has the right mindset.
well, at least he has 1 ring and a record of most tech in a season
He would destroy the league with technical fouls
Ball don't lie
Who's the guy interviewing Chauncey Billups?
The NBA hate Rasheed so much he still ain’t on MyPlayer in 2K 🤦🏾♂️
No lie I made bets with people Detroit or lakers because I knew once sheed the only guy to stand up against lakers went to the beat record in Detroit. It was done over Detroit had it unless injury
Sheed was awesome. Shame he spent a good part of his prime on that jailblazers team. Tons of talent but just a bad culture. Didn't help that they shared the confrence with a team that the NBA would much rather have in the spotlight...
I got the need for Sheed
is this tony parker?
I think it's a crime that a player with the skill level as Rasheed Wallace who has to get cheesy tech calls just to play better is where the referees need to be fired
Rasheed was KD with less handles but a better post game
He would still complain to the refs to much and lead the league in techs, that would reduce his minutes and he’ll be the exact same player.
Derrick Coleman
Sheed tenía un talento descomunal.brown hacia jugadas para ben....yo no lo entendía
Eso sí tenía momentos de desconexión 😅
He couldn’t dominate his own era! There’s no way he would today. Basketball today requires high in and lots of freedom of movement which sheed was great at, but that doesn’t mean he would dominate. If could be a top 5 player, he would of been.
Oh, bro, we gonna win the championship.
Rasheed was a good player but his personality and attitude gave him trouble. Rasheed would have problems with AD and Giannis and embiid and jokic etc.
Huh!!?? He would give these guys issues
Can't believe Detroit got him for absolutely nothing!
I don't care about What perks said. 1st of all he is not the right person to ask. He is a modern day bench player
Sheed had too much of a victim mentality that made his psyche fragile….. give me TD, Dirk and KG any day everyday. Talent with a level head.
He is not under perform he just failed to reach his max potential because he never wanted the stardom
Nobody lit up kg more than dirk lol
Duncan kg dirk.... Who u taking out fo sheed🤨🤨🤨
