I did something simulR to my 99 f150. I lowered the front 2" Then removed a leaf from the rear it was still a little high in the back so I also installed a 2" lowering shackle which brought it a 1/4" to low. To help combat that problem as well as improve the ride quality and to help with the decrease in load capacity I installed a set of air shocks. MONROE makes a set of air shocks for our truck that rated between 20-+20psi. The help increase load capacity by 1200lb. When you order the set of shocks part #ma829 it comes with both air shocks that bolt right up, and thr required air line, fittings and valve to fill them for around 70.00
Looks good ! We used to put the helper spring upside down on top of the stack then have to cut the bump stops to go lower haha was really bumpy and not very practical but looked cool, I think your way is better
Okay so I recently bought a 03 f150 4 door would it work for mine and what did u buy to make it drive that way and what amount did it drop to like a 4 ,5,6 inch drop or hoe much and how’d u do the front as well? Thanks

I have a 02 F150, it doesn't lose stability, or knock on potholes, it's safe even when lowering it!

What socket and wrench do you use to remove the center leaf spring on this model and I have a 2wd on my f150 similar year u have in this video💯
I believe it was a 14 or 15mm deep socket

@@arturoflores9019 the front has a 2in lowering spring, not a cut spring, and the rear has 2in drop shackles, plus the leaf spring mod, should work.
Is this the 4x4 version that's what I have and wondering if it'll affect the 4x4 abilities if I try this on my stock suspension

Without the right size shocks it may bottom out too much.
Will it still lower if my leaf spring is under the axle on a flip kit

It can be very dangerous, i had concrete blocks to use as stands, which worked perfectly, also very flat concrete floor.
