That ending scene where Moon looks just like he did at the beginning of the first movie as a kid when he was first inspired in the theatre with his dad makes me tear up in happiness so much.
The song she is singing to Calloway is called Stuck in the Moment (And you can't get out of it), it is yet another U2 Song and one that has a very sad backstory
Halsey plays Porsha Crystal, Bobby Canavale plays Jimmy Crystal, Clay Calloway is played by Bono from the band U2, Letitia Wright plays Nooshy, Eric Andre plays Darius and Pharrell plays Alfonso
I absolutely loved this sequel. Bono and Scarlett absolutely killed it! Halsey did amazing! Johhny's cover of Coldplay was mind blowing! Also I was pleasantly surprised when they played BTS's "Not today" during the piglet scene.
Poppycock is a word used in America however it's a very old word that isn't used as much today. It was more commonly used in the 1800's and early 1900's. Since Nana is old I'm assuming they made her say that to help show how much older she is as she would probably still use words that were more common during her time as a young adult.
About the second movie being better or not: After watching the second movie I felt like the first one has better single moments, like the "I'm Still Standing" number is probably my favorite scene from a musical ever! However, the second movie has a more theater musical feel to it. It felt like watching a Broadway show instead of a number of really awesome musical videos.
That's a good point, because they are two very different styles. In the first one it's a talent show, everyone is trying to stand out and show their individual talent. This one it's an actual story, everything is trying to be cohesive.
8:25 My dad did from the walking broomsticks in 'Fantasia' - at least he was freaked out by them when they all started rising from the splinters. And my grandma was always freaked out by the sight of the evil queen's hands transforming in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves' (her own grandmother took her to see it.
calloway walking out and starting to sing makes me cry everytime absolutely love both sing movies, banger songs with banger voices and the stories are great as well
this movie is great, but a big part is Porcha and calloway, their journies, and finding themselves :> Is great. Rest is good too, but I love their parts.
The big reason I like the 2nd over the first movie is because in the 1st movie, a lot of characters have no consequences for poor behavior. Everything works out no lesson learned. The like-ability of the characters carry it. The second one's story is much more fleshed out
i love johnny he’s my favorite and the song he did always gives me goosebumps. the part where all her kids attack the hotel lobby that song is from the group BTS called not today. btw calloway the voice is by the actual guy who sings that song in the end. also porsha is halsey.
The thing I realized about the choreographer in the movie, is that he's used to working with people that already know how to dance. He's a choreographer, not a dance teacher. He doesn't have the patience to teach someone that's never danced before because he's used to coming in and spitting out choreography and the dancers just doing it.
I've said poppycock a time or two. "Oh, that's a bunch of poppycock". Can't remember if I was in the south or north when I learned it but I have used it.
I believe the current estimated date for sing 3 was March of 2027. Don't know if that was official or if it could change, but that's what it said last time I Googled Sing three release date.
Seeing a slight aversion to wolves - makes me want to see Wolf Children on this channel. Wanting to know how you’d react and feel about the topics/themes in that anime movie.
I remember joking back when this movie came out, about Clay not saying anything after that last song because of them not having enough budget to pay Bono for more lines.
I do really like both films, even though 2 is a remix of the plot from movie 1, I kinda like the second one a little better. As for the lion, no, but I have had the opportunity to hold a baby tiger though! It was super cute and the fur was more coarse than I expected it to be!
I am going to comment in sequence here: I didn't yet finish your reaction but closer to the beginning at one point you said "What caused you all to think this one's better?" I thought to myself, "Wait for it..." because I asked myself the SAME thing when I first saw this... until the last 30-45 minutes, then I thought the same thing as most others haha.
This movie destroys me on such a deep, emotional level. Yeah, the first movie did a great job of giving the characters meaningful arcs, but this one... when you can take someone who is successful in their own field, and still give them a journey to take, you're doing something right. It's like they're all "Yeah, I'm doing alright in the small pond, but now I've got to deal with the big leagues." Johnny standing up to Klaus, who is lording it over him with "the only way to succeed is my way," Portia having to break free from her dad's shadow, and Mina having to bust out of an entirely different set of anxieties? Oh yeah. And, yeah. I do feel bad for Portia. Even at the end of the scene where she first appears, she's calling out to her dad, saying that she loves him, and he just doesn't register it. She's a brat because nothing she says or does really gets a positive response from her psychopath of a dad. She's never had to push herself, but when she's given the chance, she really shows her stuff. I feel like Ash has... the least of a direct arc to take, but she gets to help Calloway through his arc, which chokes me up every time. The moment his wife appears in the tunnel the way she does... breaks my heart. Oh, and I love Norm's arc between the first at the second. After the first one, he woke up, and he has a new life being part of his family again, rather than just slogging away at the office just to make ends meet. Calloway is crazy, though, and I love that as the movie goes on, you see just how deadly his madness is. I'm... pretty sure that Moon isn't the first person he's thrown off of his roof, and his security is just too good at covering it up. Also, I really love that there is no mention or even background hint of Mike. No one dwells on him, and there are no articles in the background about him... he was a miserable mouse to work with, and everyone has just _completely_ moved on from him. As for not knowing the music... honestly, both of these movies have introduced me to several songs that I didn't know before watching them. There's no way to be encyclopedically knowledgeable about all of pop culture! So, you're good, man. Oh, and Calloway is played by Bono, and all of the songs attributed to him are songs from Bono's career. I love that touch to his character. Also, French toast all the way. I'll do it sweet, and I'll even do it savory. Get some nice, crusty, rustic bread and put some spices in the eggs and milk... heck, you can even sprinkle cheese on it after you've flipped it, and finish it by flipping it again to get a nice sear on the cheese? Mmm, perfection. Though, when it comes to pancakes, I've been really into the traditional Japanese Okonomiyaki pancakes lately...
I've pet a lion when I was a kid in South Africa, would not recommend. Deeply regret it. Looking back, they were obviously heavily drugged and in cages 😔
I cry every time Calloway sees his wife. That last number gives me chills.
Same exact thing happened to me, and I was a total wreck when she appeared.
I was SOBBING
Me tooooo
Same :)
He needs to see school of rock!
“He almost smacked your nose normal”😭😭 omgggg I had to pause to breathe. That was too funny
SAME THAT WAS FOUL LMAO
That ending scene where Moon looks just like he did at the beginning of the first movie as a kid when he was first inspired in the theatre with his dad makes me tear up in happiness so much.
22:22 She was "acting" like she was falling in love for the role lol. But it looked off coz she's never fell in love before. But now she has!
I love that Bono played Calloway and that, because of that we got to hear awesome U2 songs
That last scene gave me the feeling of being in a U2 concert, with Bono singing his own song for the movie

32:00 “He almost smacked your nose normal” got me dead 💀
I just now noticed the ending of this movie, and the beginning of the first movie is the exact same
About the second movie being better or not: After watching the second movie I felt like the first one has better single moments, like the "I'm Still Standing" number is probably my favorite scene from a musical ever!
My family is British and I hear them say "poppycock" quite a bit lol
8:25 My dad did from the walking broomsticks in 'Fantasia' - at least he was freaked out by them when they all started rising from the splinters. And my grandma was always freaked out by the sight of the evil queen's hands transforming in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves' (her own grandmother took her to see it.
Yayyy!! this sequel is one of those sequels that's as great as the first one! this one was just a lot of fun honestly to watch for sure 💓
The first song you hear is Let's Go Crazy by Prince! He's pretty phenomenal, and my grandma's obssessed with his music!
22:33 OMG! I never noticed that Ash and Moon have bandages on their hands from the electric fence! What a cool detail to add!
the Elephant was Pharell Alfonso i think that was the name
36:18 makes sense, lions have some BIG paws, big enough to cover your face.
watching this movie on the big screen was insane
calloway walking out and starting to sing makes me cry everytime
absolutely love both sing movies, banger songs with banger voices and the stories are great as well
FRR
This movie and the 1st one are both so good.
this movie is great, but a big part is Porcha and calloway, their journies, and finding themselves :> Is great. Rest is good too, but I love their parts.
22:22 she was trying to act like it for the show😅
The big reason I like the 2nd over the first movie is because in the 1st movie, a lot of characters have no consequences for poor behavior. Everything works out no lesson learned. The like-ability of the characters carry it. The second one's story is much more fleshed out

"I aint gonna pet one (a wolf)"
Me: "I have!"
I don't think this movie is as good as the first one but i still love it
It did hurt a little the not recognizing a Prince song but everyone gets to experience him for a first time so...
Hurt me more when he didn't recognise the U2 dong, to be honest.
The thing I realized about the choreographer in the movie, is that he's used to working with people that already know how to dance. He's a choreographer, not a dance teacher. He doesn't have the patience to teach someone that's never danced before because he's used to coming in and spitting out choreography and the dancers just doing it.
The third HAS been confirmed

Klikkin Clauber's the nose is just "smack bam 💥 " smaked right 😂
'Trolls' trilogy! Please and thank you. Wishing you peace and joy✌️😁
One of my faves!
I won’t tell you which part ALWAYS makes me cry 😉😉😉
I believe the current estimated date for sing 3 was March of 2027. Don't know if that was official or if it could change, but that's what it said last time I Googled Sing three release date.
That was I was thinking when he screamed as well.
Clay Calloway is voiced by Bono the lead singer of U2 and Porsha is voiced by Halsey
Pancakes 17:08
Also it was so funny that Cristal threatened to throw Moon off the roof, then he actually did 😂
The subtle baffled looks on your face are totally priceless!
Seeing a slight aversion to wolves - makes me want to see Wolf Children on this channel. Wanting to know how you’d react and feel about the topics/themes in that anime movie.
I loved the first sing so of course I loved this one too! ❤ everyone did such a phenomenal job on this movie 🙏🏼
I remember joking back when this movie came out, about Clay not saying anything after that last song because of them not having enough budget to pay Bono for more lines.
OMG, baby, sweet baby you didn't know Let's Go Crazy by Prince? Well, your next review gotta be Purple Rain 🥺💔💜🖤❤️
I used to be a zookeeper, and I have had a chance to pet lions a time of two
I pet one too one time, but she was dead so u don’t think that counts 😅
I do really like both films, even though 2 is a remix of the plot from movie 1, I kinda like the second one a little better.
As for the lion, no, but I have had the opportunity to hold a baby tiger though! It was super cute and the fur was more coarse than I expected it to be!
I can’t believe you went on idols I really wanna see your audition 😭🤍
Bono and Halsey would be the major new additions to this :)
I used to be crazy flexible. At 62 age and my disability has reduced that to almost nil.
When they show Calloway’s wife was right there with him 😭
This was great I love both sing and sing 2 I hope he does trolls soon! ❤️🤞🏾
The formula:
America’s Got Talent + Get Him to the Greek = SING 2
The song in the beginning is Prince "Let's go crazy"
it's Halsey plays is the wolf
Last Duet is 🔥🔥🔥
37:21 Mr Crystal got his karma :D
Aint no way this got me laughing too hard 30:34
U missed 30:10 its not today by BTS, so glad they used it
Better storyline, music, more comedy, and more motivating than the first one with a good cast as well
Ok just prior to 20:46, you said you haven't seen "Frozen"... you DO NEED to see that ;)
Most colorful place I’ve ever been to is at Disney World (in Toy Story land)
With you not knowing the first song in this movie, all I'll say is watch Purple Rain
Please react to Rocketman (2019), it's a great musical and as a singer, I think you would really apreciate it!
A favorite movie of mine! First song was Prince - if you get the chance Purple Rain would be a great movie to react to. 😊
Omg sing 2!!!!!I love that one better!❤Keep it up Mr.Flicks!!Hope you have a good day!Stay safe!!
let’s go i’m early!! more of there animated pls🙏🏽
I think poppycock is a British thing. Lol 😂
As punishment for not recognizing Prince, you should react to the movie Purple Rain.
It's a brittish curse sir! ❤
Honestly Halsey & Bono were the cherry on top for this movie
The song sung by Ash that you wanted to know is Stuck in a moment you cant get out of by U2. 😊
I have in fact pet a lion before they were only cubs though.

I like the second better due to the storylines
