I saw Ray Charles when I was 18 years old at Steel Pier in Atlantic City. He had the Raelets on back up vocal but had a young virtuoso on Hammond B3. It was Billy Preston who was amazing. Ray Charles had the entire crowd in the palm of his hands! What a fantastic showman. To this day one of the best concerts I have ever seen and I have seen all the best.
Everyone reading this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world, if you love jazz music or follow me
Amazing as usual the Genius of Ray Charles!!.....Fabulous!! I had the joy of enjoying 2 live concerts, one of them at the International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato Mexico and the other at the Michigan Jazz Fest.
Brilliant concert in every way! Ray is (was) another unique entertainer that cannot be copied. A treasure who could cross genres. He could touch hearts of the young and old alike. He straddled ethnicity and class boundaries. He was the only Ray Charles!
YEAH CHARLES YOU ARE A LEGEND MY BEST FRIEND RADIVOJ AND MY MAMA LISTENED TO YOU NOW THEY BOTH WERE DEAD FOR A LONG TIME AND EVERYBODY REST IN PEACE YOUR LEGACY LIVES ON IT IS NICE TO LISTEN TO YOU ON SUCH A RAINY DAY

The trombone's voice almost somehow resembles Mr. Charles'. Such a miraculous event, band and R.C. Thankyou :)

I saw Ray Charles and his big band in 1982. He is so active during his performance, many times, I thought he will fall off his elevated piano bench!

HERE A STORM IS COMING AND I WILL TURN OFF MY COMPUTER BECAUSE OF LIGHTENINGS
They arent not in capacity to give a grand piano for Ray !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No creo que sea eso. Sus arreglos para teclado (con otros sonidos y efectos no de piano) están ahí, bien claros.
Zéro!
