The same 1992 San Juan AMA units, provided by SCRTD and TMC joining the Methanol program in San Juan, later in 1996 this buses change to Diesel, sadly only 7 repowered by Series 50 engine (4L50), the 6v92 are more powerful especially on highways. I remember those units in San Juan, rear doors are pushable and the driver says empujala in spanissh, push it in english only 92135 doors are automatic
L.C.M.T.A TMC RTS'S took the punishment of the harsh street's of los angeles and still they were & still worth thier wieght in gold where ever they may be sitting at now my guess would the bus boneyard in santa barbra county Yes these buses are cool and can be turned into an pimped out rv too.In the 80's did'nt ya just love ridin these buses of a twin of these..

Slow take off....the 1990-1993 TMCs with 6V92s were always slow on take off, but that's the beauty of it!
