    This is awesome!😂 Scope definitely HELPS, if you know what you’re doing but does it make you catch fish, no. Took me 3 years to be at where I am with it now. But no one sees the behind the scenes of the breakdowns I do of lakes at my house and mapping potential spots to be able to MAYBE be where I need to be. Also don’t see the small details I’ve learned with lures and presentation styles, I think there a lot of stuff I know about scope that I don’t even know I know. Like stuff I don’t think off I just do.

I've had mine for 2 years and use it every time I go out and still suck at it. Love fishing the small lake your talking about and have fished several of the jackpots there but have been skunked the last couple trips. I love bass fishing. I love getting in my boat getting away and when I go I fish hard. I’m not a great fisherman. I use livescope I’m not good with it at all. I do catch fish with it but I’m not efficient. My favorite is beating the bank power fishing. I get beat at the local tournaments most of the time by scopers but I don’t hate it. It’s just not my strength but my strength isn’t all that good either. I just love going.

    I thought like alot of them when I first got one. Didn't happen! What I have found to be one of the big upsides to it is learning things I didn't know about how fish react. Also when I needed to slow down I was still fishing way to fast. But as far as throwing one on your boat and going out and catching big fish every cast, ain't gonna happen.

    Austin, I think many who are complaining are simply trying to say that it is beginning to give anglers an unfair advantage. You can’t shoot quail or ducks on the water. You can’t use night vision to sneak up on bedding deer and, if you are a PROFESSIONAL angler, you shouldn’t be able to use something that pinpoints location of the fish and literally lets you see them in pursuit of your lure. That’s great for sight fishing but not using technology. These bass have usually got somewhere to go to get away from pressure. With Livescope, they simply experience non stop pressure. I know wild life biologist here in an Oklahoma and most of them are of the opinion that Livescope is about as healthy for the bass population as NIL is for college football. Crap….where did that come from? Must be on my mind. I know you think I am probably some geezer that simply can’t evolve with the times. I actually have Livescope. I definitely catch more bass EVERY time I’m out. But that’s kinda the point. It’s OK for casual fishermen but on a lake like Grand with 200 tournaments a year and a high mortality rate…maybe not so much. If you do think mortality rates are very high just go to Wolfe Creek and hang around after the tournament. Big dead bass everywhere. With Livescope it’s more big dead bass.

    I want u to fish one tournament with it. In one without it in see the difference in how you place. OR A WHOLE SEASON. That would legitimaze your claim . I done seen it on Grenada for crappie in all that. The main thing for me is it has mad it a elitest sport. No longer can a local 16 year old show up in a 4000 dollar rig in compete in local tournaments. Same at the highschool level. Kids that win have live scope. No one said it doesn't take skill. But you can use it with far inferior fishing skills in win. Over someone who can pitch, flip ,skip docks , frog , jerkbait . Also you see trailing fish . Before you would have to figure out the precise perking action for a jerk bait or speed for crank. This is all down with the screen now. It's made fishing so much easier . But like I said fish a season without livescope in see how well u do with it the next in that will give u the answere we all want . Are you competitive without livescope!

    I honestly hate the term "scopin" theres really more to it than just seeing the fish. You gotta know what your looking at. Bass behavior changes from day to day, yes you can see that but it takes true instinct and time on the water to know the difference in what they are doing and want. With that there's lure selection, presentations and all sorts of small details that still go into play for catching that fish. And all that applies to fishing without Livescope except your narrowing it down to high percentage areas. But for me to be honest one of your biggest tools in the box is SIDESCAN, and I don't hear a soul talking about that. You literally can get on them with that too! IF YOU HAVE ADAPTED AND TAKEN THE TIME TO EVOLVE YOUR GAME!

  • @BryantJ_Fishing
    @BryantJ_Fishing 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    FFS is more efficient not easier. What makes it really hard is not making the right decision on when to move spots instead staring at fish for 2hrs that are not active or not the right species. Literally you can watch a few videos and learn FFS but there are so many other factors that account for the system to function properly that has nothing to do with the concept on how it works. The average angler or fun fisherman that doesn’t understand conditions, thermocline, sun angle if it’s bright, boat positioning, ext. will have trouble with FFS. This is coming from someone who put a lot of time and energy on truly understanding how to use FFS properly and I still learn every time I use it. The concept of being a pro vs a fun fishermen is what the whole argument is all about. I do believe to consider yourself a pro fishermen you should be versatile. The problem is not the technology. It’s the scheduling of tournaments. Scheduling tournaments to where weather conditions and fish patterns are favorable to FFS has been the real issue in my opinion.

    This is ridiculous if we all had 40k to get a live scope and used it for a few years we would be able to learn it🙄. Of course if we've never used it we're going to suck at it. Now same on the other side. That's how you fish take your scope away and you would be destroyed by real fisherman like Bill Dance Rick Clunn or even myself who nobody even knows. I've been bass fishing since I was 8 and I'm 42. I say let's go to a lake neither of us have ever fished and go with no electronics 1 day tournament and I am willing to bet I would destroy you. I was fishing lake of the Ozarks for the first time ever from the bank no boat and a tournament came in to the ramp in the few hours I was there I put together a 19+ bag in 5 fish and a 7.2lb big. After my nephew watched the weigh in he came running out on the dock saying uncle you would have won big bag and big fish. We'll so happens Scott was there in the trokar boat and asked what I was using. I gave him a few gigs I made a year later the swing head jig was being produced by all the companies. I still make my own for $1.25ea. Should have never shown those to a pro. So if you want to challenge me with no electronics I'll show you how it's cheating and how scopers are ruining the fisheries. I live in AZ grew up in Tennessee and Florida.
