    I have a 2020 Mojave. And have been wanting to lift it for years. I just now stumbled across this video. Is this still the best way to lift it while maintaining the stock shocks? Or does teraflex have an entire kit you can order now?

    @Epic Adventure Outfitters I see this video is almost a year old. When viewing the Teraflex website and putting in info for a 2022 Mojave, it gives several options for lift kits... being a newbie, it's a little confusing and I could use some guidance. Have these kits been made available since your lift and were not available to you ? Are they "complete" kits or is your product list and pieced together kit still the way to go ? I also notice some options included springs and other options, I didn't see you guys change any of that, so I'm guessing its not needed. Is there a complete kit you would recommend ?

    Hopefully you can help me with this i have a rubicon and a complete Mojave suspension take off, i ordered everything you did here just in debate on using Rubi springs or Mojave springs. From what i gathered the Mojave springs do not provide the full inch of lift, some of the Mojave lift comes from the hydro bump frame. I am not necessarily bombing desert, Mostly jacked up rocky forest service roads. I have been running the shocks for about 2 months and it rides pretty good with Rubi springs. But have no butt time on Mojave springs. Opinion please befor i tare everything aprt to put lift.

    • @TheEPICBeardedGinger
      @TheEPICBeardedGinger 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that's exactly what we recommend now to save hunting a bunch of part numbers. And then we add the front track bar, lower control arms, rear track bar bracket and if wanted a set of sway bar disconnects.

  • @johnthibodeaux5189
    @johnthibodeaux5189 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Why did y’all use the adjustable control arm, sway bar disconnect, and sport arm? Those aren’t necessary for the lift right? You can’t use what’s in the Mojave already for those parts?

    • @hexnut72
      @hexnut72 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      John Thibodeaux the adjustable track bar allows you to center the axle side to side. As you lift the suspension the axle will move to one side. The control arms are made for a lifted Jeep and keep the alignment in spec by rotating the axle slightly. The quick disconnects are there to help you flex off road but aren’t technically needed.

    • @EPIC-4WD
      @EPIC-4WD  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah, no idea what that means. If you put in spacers AND shock extensions to match those spacers, it retains pretty much the exact same handling as stock. We're doing this exactly lift in our own Mojave that we just picked up.

    • @StevenZagaris
      @StevenZagaris 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Think about it this way. Some people at a $100+ million lab somewhere came up with the perfect formula that balances performance, safety, economy and enjoyability. Then some randos online were like "HiGhEr = bEtTeR" and decided to throw a bunch of aftermarket stuff in, on, under and over their jeep.

    • @brandonhunter2760
      @brandonhunter2760 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StevenZagaris Not quite that simple. Remember, Jeep is a business. Businesses are in business to make a profit. There is only so much any company is willing to offer at X price to maintain profit. The aftermarket exists to offer increased performance over stock. I’m guessing that you have never been to SEMA?!

I’m sure I will owe you guys more than just one beer by the time this is over with. I am trying to assemble this kit and want it to be exact. Having a hard time finding PN-05 01 309 050 (0.5 rear coil spring spacers) and PN-05 01 109 200 (2" front coil spacers). Not seeing these numbers at Tera flex or Quadratec and impossible to get in touch with a human at either place. Any suggestions? Or can you tell me what jeep and year these spacers were intended for or are all JK,JL JT coil spacers the same? Again, thank you for the work you put into this setup. Wish I could just purchase this kit from you.

      UPDATE: Did get to speak to someone at Teraflex. They are familiar with this video, says he gets multiple calls a day because of it. Very helpful, had a few different suggestions. Parts are now all ordered. Thank you guys at EPIC!

      Del what was your final cost for the kit?

      R4 Kings Not sure off the top of my head, I didn’t add everything up. Was kind of avoiding that. Lol. I think it was somewhere around 1200. That also includes a rear track bar relocation bracket and maybe some other odds and ends.

    One more question. Why not use the Teraflex rear shock extensions? Thanks guys!

      Teraflex does not make or offer rear shock extensions for a Gladiator, thus why we used EVO ones.

    Do you have to order 05-01-309-050 (x2) and 05-01-109-200 (x2) separately from the kit 1375300?
