I know I still am a bit. I've known him for so long, I've see him grow out of things he would cling onto in earlier years. He's really grown up, but has still got some work to do.

Lets face it, this is the point of the show, to create drama over the wedding. I got a feeling that a lot of the drama on this show is created to make for a better TV show, as who would watch a show were the groom does everything right about the wedding? people would complain about how dull the show was. I genuinely don't think the grooms are that clueless IRL, I think they have to generate drama so that the show can make it on air. I think that only those wedding that are shown on TV are paid for.

Has only been one episode when the wedding didn't go ahead.The program canceled it as the bride didn't stick to the contract and read his emails and found out the plan.
If the bride doesn't want to go ahead they have to pay the money back that is why in some episodes they just get it over with and don't do the legal side afterwards.

This show really displays to the bride how selfish the groom can be. Some mistakes are little but some are huge and can let you know if your marriage is a mistake
It can be really revealing. I've seen some episodes where the groom makes all kinds of brash decisions (I think they're contractually required to go big and bold) but she absolutely loves it.
Other times, this shit happens and it reveals how little he knows or cares.

Spoiler alert**** ..... the next one is even worse, the bride is pregnant, she has to wait outside with the dress on for 2hours, then she gets in the car and gets driven for another 3 hours and then gets in a boat for another 1 hour ride to reach the stage where she is getting married. I do not understand these women how can they put up this kind of stuff from the partners. This groom couldn’t care less the fact that she is pregnant and that the guests are going to suffer through this. All the grooms care about is WHAT THEY WANT!!! I just wish these men could be taught a lesson for being soo selfish!!!

If it was me I wouldn't go through with it, like the poor woman whose partner arranged everything around beer and she was supposed to get married in a brewery/beer museum....she didn't go through with it and there was a note saying they were "working on their relationship"....hmm, I bet they were.
I felt so bad for that girl because she didn't drink beer and her fiance was well aware of it. He just did it because he liked it, he didn't consider her feelings at all.

Stuff like this reeeeeally makes me appreciate how great my fiance is. I'd never let him organise our wedding cause there'd be so many things he wouldn't think of, but at least he'd remember to invite the guests, he'd get me a lovely dress and he would organise something I'd like for the hens do.

I actually know both Phil and Elle personally and he isn't as selfish as the show makes out. This show doesnt have normal weddings everything has to be over the top, you have to annoy your misses and play pranks and push it, it's suppose to be dramatic, emotional and show the "highs and lows" of a relationship. Alot of the best bits they shot was never in the show. Also the groom isn't allowed to contact anyone during the period so sending invites, you are limited. People are easily mislead sadly, you'll see the same pattern in all episodes.

On the wedding day alot of people taking pictures had to sign a contract to not post it on social media. They had limitations, infact it wasn't Phil who invited us to the wedding it was a mutual friend.

I KNOW both Phil and Elle personally and this show portrays Phil as selfish and non caring and everyone seeing this is completely buying the show. He really isn't like that in real life. Phil deserves Elle 100%, she couldn't find a better guy, hes a carer for a living and tries his very best to look after his family including his kid , that's what he's about. He's done countless charity events for cancer also, it's very easy to paint an image of him because of his music taste (metal), tattoos and piercings but have a few drinks with him he is the softest most loving guy you could ever meet.
