Just brilliant! A thousand times better than the choreographed reality shows and fake pranks that we get today. Back then it was done for real and lazy producers did not take us for fools by using actors who knew what was going on. And even though the comments by the narrator were genuinely spontaneous, they are still much better than the scripted ones of today.
Some of my best memories as a boy is sitting around the tv watching Candid Camera with the whole family laughing our heads off. Still makes me laugh all these years later. Thats the mark of a great TV show.
Thanks for the great laughs, for I needed it. I miss watching this show as a kid growing up with my family and laughing together. Thanks for the great memories of bringing back the old classics. XO
Just think, you are hanging nice wallpaper and someone comes busting through the wall and not only makes a huge hole in the wall but destroys your beautiful wallpaper that you worked so hard on...lol. 😂 👏
I was thinking similar the first ones were terrible but the presenter did say they were amateurs . I figured they were doing some day work from the likes of a temp agency if they had them back then .
The great thing about this is the journey back to when families were *together* for at least a few hours after dinner. Most had one TV and *every show* was appropriate viewing, so the family watched together. Fast forward 50 to 60 years and Mom is watching Hallmark or The Bachelor in the living room, Dad is in the family room watching sports, the son is in his room playing video games online and yelling at the game and other players, and the daughter is in her room posting stupid TikTok dances online. And people are dumb enough to wonder whatever happened to the nuclear family while the answers are all around them!!!🤦🏻🤷🏻♂️
I dont understand how they didn't question why they are putting wallpaper over an opening.... like why re-apply wallpaper after knowing that's an opening. Why not question the logic of re-applying wallpaper to an area someone may walk through?

Last guy: "You did a better one here." Hilarious!

Nothing is comparable to this nice clean and beautiful comedy
They were all so calm. I would be having a fit 🤣

I often wonder if anybody ever asks
" I'm still getting paid aren't I?"
"You did a very nice job."- deadpan answer: "You did a better one here."🤓
"That's another fine mess you've gotten us into"!
These folks are so mature
I'm gonna go do this at my neighbor's house. We'll all have a good laugh over it.
The last fella really knew his stuff! Can’t see a join!
Yes. The other 2 did a horrible job.

Holy cow, this was the year my mother, and grandmother of 5 was born!😂
None of them had much of a reaction at all. They were all so chill.
So funny....😂
Did that last guy say they're all "effed up" now???!!!
3:30 Thumbnail guy looks like a skinny archie bunker/carrol o connor.
Jeg troede først , ligner ham fra Gøg og Gokke / Stan Laurel .

I hope these guys got paid for the day. 😅
Is this the Lobby?
Odd one. Why would someone bust through the wall.
Exactly
That's the point 🙄
Man, that last guy was doing a great job!
They all dress nice
Did these guys get paid? It's not easy work...
Yes, they did. They were temp workers, who received a day's pay. -Peter
The first 2 did a horrible job anyway...
For those who know, your intro using the original show’s intro is NOT necessary. Just show the clips. Thank you!
Too funny !!!! I an believe I was just 5 when this aired !!!! Iḿ now 62
