Really enjoying your build journey thus far. Can’t wait to see more. What damping settings are you running on your ST XTAs ? What’s the ride quality like on the street ?
Thanks bro I appreciate that. Dampening settings were left at what they come with out of the box. So with those settings and having lowered the car with only a finger gap all the way around it feels exceptionally good for a daily driver. 95% of the body roll is gone and it actually feels more comfortable than the M-sport suspension. The roads are very nice here in California but on some of bad ones it still felt comfortable at this damp setting. Felt so good when I did a canyon run. However i would like to tighten it up a few clicks.
This sounds great! I put a turner valved exhaust on my F87 N55 and didn't like it so I deleted the rear muffler section and it sounds better but WAY too loud. Hoping that adding a resonator will get it right!
@TOOEURO. cool I'll check it out! It's funny you mentioned that because that was my next choice to try if adding a resonator doesn't get the sound right 😁
The E84 got neutered sound wise with it's muffler. I am full straight through, to the stock muffler and it's nowhere near this loud. In fact, just a muffler delete with the rest stock was louder than stock muffler only. I opened mine up for the PE mod, but the insides are totally different than the E8x and E9x 35i
@TOOEURO. I am tackling a whole bunch of maintenance by myself overhauling the power steering system, oil filter housing gasket, had a massive oil blowout while driving from the oil cooler lines giving way, going to do some upgraded lines and other basic maintenance. Its just time is that I don't have.
@@LilMilkcrate Its an E82 buddy. So it comes with the DCT similar to what the V8 E92 M3 came with and the M cars. For some reason its one of the only M lite cars that actually had the best gearbox at the time. But yeah its just a Stage 3 xHP DCT from my guess anyways. I have the same myself and it seems the same.
the primary reason is (for my ears and taste) a catted gives the exhaust more character. Catless to me just sounds like a straight through exhaust and tends to lose the deeper tones which i find more appealing. second would be the smell. i hardly ever notice smell off the catted.
One of my favorite sounding burbles on an OEM car is that of the 911 GT3, so I tried to replicate that as much as possible and I found that Soft/0.6 seconds is what gets me close to that.
Best sounding BMW of all times hands down ❤
yes it’s intoxicating!

Bavarian motor works 🤝🏽

Do you have separate mics for the audio(if ya what’s the setup)? Or just the camera mic? Love the content!!!
I have a rode wireless go taped to the rear bumper.

Its a solid setup.

Hand position on steering wheel triggered me. But I covered that part of the screen and enjoyed the video :p Sounds similar to mine.
haha. check the new video we got a new setup.
The Prius is hybrid, probably took off in electric mode, electric cars are pretty fast on the take off. 😅😂
lol
I need my exhaust done so badly
Geterdone my dude
What tune do you have and mapping are you running to make it burble just a few short seconds
stage 2 mhd and my burble setting if i remember is soft and 0.4sec but id have to double check.
im not by my car right now but i know its soft burbles set at 0.4 or 0.5 seconds. its perfect.
Straight piped?
no. just dp and custom y pipe.
Hey dude, whats been done to it? The gear shifts sound so good and so damn fast
its dkg
@@jakegoldberg8941 DCT* Also sounds like it has XHP stage 3, thats pretty much the only mod you can do to these boxes to make them more responsive.
@@jackse82 dkg is the factory term for it.
@@jackse82 I thought all f30s come with the ZF8HP?

ThNks . What mods?
fbo and mhd
Curious, why catted dp vs non?

what’s your settings for mhd? do you have burble turned on and if so i need the settings😮💨

@@TOOEURO.Did you tune it to the same as the Porsche 911 GT burbles 0.6 seconds to replicate it
And are you using MHD software
What are u running for mhd
Just stage 2 for now
What exhaust?
VRSF HF DP, Resonator deleted and replaced with Y pipe, stock muff
Bliss
🙏🏻 thanks brotha it makes me smile every time!
what exhaust are you running?
Vrsf Catted + custom y pipe in place of resonator and stock muffler
What’s the exhaust setup?
HF Catted DP and resonator deleted and replaces with custom Y pipe. Stock muffler with valves set to open.
Why rpm jumpy? mhd ots map?
yep
Droooling
fracturing necks with that dct blip in between shifts.
You did not hit the gas properly once 🫵🏽 smh
