I created Stale Static for chiller portions of a set.
Although not necessarily a "room reset," its energy flows well post-reset, serving to bring up the energy while maintaining the chill.
Writing Stale Static last May (2022), this song serves as an important stepping stone in my journey.
Stale Static is the first song I felt was remotely close to the sound I'm trying to achieve.
Last June I had the opportunity to play Stale Static live at a beach renegade -
quite honestly, the optimal setting to rinse this song.
The name Stale Static comes from memories slightly remembered.
Unclear, hazy, perhaps a little cringe, yet warm memories.
Emotionally, this is what the song invokes for me.
Stale Static is the first release on my personal label, CEED.
I'm going to release as much as possible here for the next two years.
All album art is original. I'll be using Oil Pastel as my medium.
