I disagree. If mainstream DJs were to play smaller clubs, the atmosphere would be severely impacted. The house music scene thrives both at house music clubs and outside of these clubs. If the event isn’t for you, don’t go. In my opinion, the more people being exposed to house music, and electronic music in general, the better! Individual scenes, and their underground counterparts, will do better the more people are excited about and experiencing the music.

Being able to do this at a festival would be incredible and definitely something I’m aiming for. I’d love to explore Nashville’s bass music scene especially, I know there’s some pretty awesome events going on at the Caverns!

I definitely agree to disagree. I will say the Frank Ocean radio station is all over the place, however, Frank's is known for his eclectic taste. "Blonded" is a major part of his branding and it's even his name on Instagram. In regards to UK rap being played in LA, it's a lot more common than you think. Central Cee, Dave, and Skepta are pretty common names on local LA radio stations. Perhaps less so in 2013, but there's something to say about Rockstar being ahead and anticipating evolving tastes. I'm sure GTA 6 will include an immensely wide variety of global sounds from Amapiano, Afro House, Reggaeton, and Cumbia. Just because songs/genres are made in different countries does not mean they aren't popular there. I totally understand if you don't like the stations they added, however, I think they're magnificently curated and include many forward thinking songs and sounds!

@@Ceeds With that interrupting songs i wasn't referencing to Frank Ocean radio specifically. Alot of other of these Radio Stations just play totally different generes on one Radio Station. And all of them are like that. That's what i meant with consistency. I want to switch on a specific Radio Station and expect a specific type of genre, mood. My most prefered one is MOTOMAMI Los Santos they fairly recently added, but it also have just a few songs that doesn't match with the rest of those songs mood. One Radio Stations that just mixes multiple genres is fine, but all of them? Too much. And yea i totally see R* heading towards trending genres, songs like UK drill, rap and such, but it happends nowadays trough the internet, but on the radio? Do you live in L.A or have you been there to know that? And yea i am well hopeful that GTA 6 will capture the vibe of Florida culture with they with release radio stations. There is a lot of stuff they could do there. And as with any GTA before, i hope that they will then teach people about such songs, genres they don't know about. One thing i also don't like i didn't mentioned is that R* never reuses songs from one GTA to another. And they added so many iconic songs with the updates that destroy now a lot of potential for the future. The game was already too old to add a song like Candy Shop from 50 Cent. This song for ex. would be a banger to add if they would try to set a next GTA in the vibe/time of the early 2000's. And many songs from that time they added, leaving no chance for them to be what they could be without just being a GTA Online DLC.

That would be crazy! Unfortunately there's so many hoops to cross in order to make that a reality. I'm sure they'll have some sort of create your own playlist though. I'd love to have my own mixtape, in game, with the songs of my choice!

Sorry last thought. Consider how much music has played a role in GTA online since it's inception. Like all the artists mentioned through DLCs, the collectible flash drives. The Dr dre contact dlc with an entirely new soundtrack. The big shout-out to the Tom Petty family during the GTA6 trailer. Music has played such a pivotal role in GTA.

You absolutely nailed it! I can absolutely see GTA having a concert/festival series at an even higher level than fortnite. I believe their access to DJs and artists is unparalleled. The fact that Frank Ocean has a radio station in GTA 5 is another indicator that no one does it like Rockstar. I'm sure for GTA Online Rockstar will also charge people in game currency for these shows. I can't wait to see what they create for us!

Same! It was awesome going back and playing GTA 5 and reliving the experience with fresh eyes to the music. It's never to late to get on the digital dancefloor and rock out to some Solomun, Moodymann, or Keinemusik!

GTA opened my eyes to so much music. Writing and researching this video really reminded me of the excitement I felt when I heard a song pop on the radio for the first time. GTA 5 is truly an enigma too since replaying it and hoping on GTA online this year felt both nostalgic and refreshing. What’s your fav GTA online station?

Absolute classics! The GTA 5 radio Los santos reminds me of just driving around with friends IRL. Kendrick Lamar - ADHD is an absolute standout for me on the playlist!
