Nice vid as always mate, and a very nice 100yd shot. R u still using the Alpex LRF? Was out last Saturday for a spot of LR Raven shooting with the .260rem between 600 and 800yds. The bloody things wouldn't stand still ...when I fired a shot the bullet would take around a second to get there and I would hit were they previously stood. Result...Sean 0, Ravens happy. take care mate😊
Thanks mate I'm glad you enjoy it. As for the Alpex no not done much with it as I have bought a new toy which will be coming up in a new video soon. That's a long way on the Ravens and yes I can see how frustrating it is aa they are continually on the move. How are you finding the Alpex?
@@jimwood I'm very happy with it, but the only issue is the weight. My CZ has the varmint barrel so that with the scope and IR torch makes it quite hefty. It almost weighs more than my sako 85 VLS .260 with the big Leupold.
Great second Fox Jimbo, the thermal looked OK too, Unusual to see GREEN HOT, I wonder where they got that idea from ???🤔🤔 I might send you the Ludicrous Lumens Wraith ESL torch to try out, you'll find that much easier to zoom and focus, and it's far lighter than the one you're clumping around all night.
Thanks Dave and yes I was pleased with the second fox to. I'm not a fan of the green but I do like the sepia pallet. Oh okay that would be good if you could send the ir torch for me to try out. 👍
@ThePstorm I actually have some to try out so I will let you know. The 40 grain were a great round but I've heard the 42 aren't as good. I will do a video with the different rounds I have and see which are best.
Another great video Jim , 2 cracking foxes and few rabbits well done mate.
Good video Jim some good shots on the bunny’s there quite impressed 👍 like the little spotter to looks like a cracking bit of kit 👌
Thanks mate and yeah not a bad shot on the long bunny. The spotter is pretty good nice clear image quality when you look through it 👍
what range were the thermal clips at ?
The badger started at around 70 yards and came up to about 40 yards. The fox was near 300 yards
04:57 An Alien visitor?

Thanks Keith and yes bagging a Charlie or to always makes a trip even better. 👍👍
Nice vid as always mate, and a very nice 100yd shot.

@cyclo360 I agree it is quite a heavy unit. If it was abit lighter it would be perfect. My ATN was the same but still a good scope.
Oh. Now I know what it is.The range finder thingy,
Indeed it is 👍
Nice one mate , new sub
Thanks mate glad you liked it, and thanks for yhe sub I appreciate it 👍
Great review Jim , nice work on the bunnies 🐇 bonus foxes bang on 🦊💥👍

Cracking video mate and some great shooting 😊 the thermal looks a really good bit of kit to 👍
Thanks mate, yes a productive walk round. And yes it's a nice spotter and handy pocket size unit. 👍
Top video. Could I ask for a link to the ir torch mount your using please?
Thankyou 👍 the mount is an opticfire high adjustment mount which I bought off ebay years ago. I'm sure they still sell them on there 👍
Nice one Jim ? Good to see you out shooting, some cracking shots there mate 👍👍🤠
Cheers Col and yes nice little walk round for a couple of hours. More to come mate 👍
@@jimwood 👍👍🤠
Nicely done Jim.
Thanks Shaun, hope everything is good with you.
Enjoyed that Jim. Keep up the good work. You still using CCI ammo?
Thanks mate 👍 and yes still using the CCI's. I love this ammo. But I do have some other ammo I purchased to try out so will see how they perform.
@@jimwood my RFD only stock’s Winchester Sub 42 Max. They seem ok with my CZ 452 16’’ barrel. Was wondering if you had any experience with them?

Do you ever notice CCI Subsonic going supersonic. Happens a lot on me((
