    Lyrics:
    Is the future open
    Is the future seen
    You’d have to pray forever and if you don’t believe
    They’ll come down on you
    From the longest fall
    When they’ve all been vanquished and they’ve all been tried
    Like it’s some great penalty, but its just there pride
    And they got no follow through
    They hold the weakest stance
    Ya well they’ll come to steal and divide
    all that’s good
    You say you thirst for vengeance and you crave for fire
    On the roofs of innocence
    You watch them rage and writhe
    And it don’t bother you
    You feel so brave
    Your standing in the water
    You think that you’ve been saved
    With your blind ignorance
    In comes a crushing wave
    Now see what drown men do, in your watery grave
    Well they’ll come to steal and divide
    All that’s good
    Ya they’ll come to steal and divide
    All that’s good
    Ya they’ll come to steel and divide
    Ya they come to steel and divide
    All that’s good
    All that’s good

    God I love these guys. This is like a brand new old school Dylan song with a modern energy. I love the raw power of his voice. You can feel the spray of the sweat and spit.

    For a long time, there was no future, only right now. The future would never come. But on the my son was born, there was a change. This small boy became my future. So much excitement for what will come. The future is bright. The future is now.

    I'm sure many of us see the undeniable similarity to Dylan, song wise, as well as sound wise. Nathaniel sounds even angrier than Dylan ever did, at least on this performance. I'm only aware of this group, because I caught them at the end of the Stephen Colbert show recently. There haven't been many musical artists who have gotten my attention in the past few decades, but Nataniel certainly did. I've always loved Dylan, so I'm certainly going to pay attention to an artist who sounds like Dylan on steroids ..... LOVE IT!

    I wonder why they chose to mix the scream so loud? It's just a hair past comfortable. It stands out in a not so good way whereas if they kept it reasonable it would make more of an impact since it wouldn't trigger the "abnormal sounds" reflex.

    • @reuireuiop0
      @reuireuiop0 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dont think it's carried too far, but it _did_ make me think

    • @gobigrey9352
      @gobigrey9352 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@reuireuiop0 If I had been the one to mix the song I would have heard the scream as jarring and therefore brought the scream down and probably ruined the song in doing so. Now that I'm used to hearing it, I like what they did. It's perfectly and artfully done. Great production.
