- In this Kazakhstan travel vlog, we took the overnight train from Almaty to the capital Astana. Full details including how much it cost to ride this train, how we booked it using www.tickets.kz , what the cheapest cabin on the train looks like (in a Kazakh economy class train carriage). After reaching Nur Sultan train station in Astana, we got two public bus cards to be able to use the city bus to explore the city. We then checked into a hostel in Old Astana. 🤓

Hi, is there any security check throughout your train ride like dog sniffers? And how much for the ticket price?
Ticket price is mentioned in the video; there were some checks happening on the train - but more in the stations at the origin and destination!

The one with the cheapest price. Think it was seat. You can toggle and check whichever one is cheapest
