Regarding the car rental service, May I know what kind of document do they require? Cause I always thought Malaysia International Driving Permit is in 1949 Geneva version and Kazakhtan require 1968 Vienna version😔?

Hi, Nice video, may i know? What app or website you rent car? Is it safe to drive to all locations on your video? Do use goggle maps and do they have strong signal coverage for Internet?

The Kaindy Lake & Assy Plateaus need a much higher car as the road is very raw… also need to cross river.. we use google map and downloaded the offline version. Some outskirt area like the plateau.. in between town and village no coverage… do pump petrol every time u can too..

@@VivianNg Hi vivian thanks for the info. BTW, did you guys use an International driving permit ? I was told that kazakhstan only accept the IDP in the 1968 standard format and both malaysia and Singapore issues IDP in the 1949 format. Am wondering if you both encountered any problems?
Hi Vivian, really Loved your video just needed some information which will be helpful in planning my trip to Kazakhstan.
1) Which month did you travel to Kazakhstan as the Snow is pretty thick so was it January this year or some other month.
2) The Rental Car- You booked online from KL or at the Kazakhstan airport. If possible can you please share the cost for the rental car ans also the company through which you booked the car.

1) we arrived on the last day of April
2) we spend about RM7000 each including everything
3) it is better to have a tour guide of course I would suggest the Altyn Emel National Park to have a guide as it’s so big and many unknown places are yet to discover. U can check out ilyas we met him at the park! Link in description. Driving urself is very trill and many unforeseen can happened. 🤪

Hi Vivian - how long was the drive from Aktau mountains all the way back to Singing dunes! We are trying to squeeze these 2 into one day but not sure if possible
Hahaha 😂 we had a flat tire.. we went back to town to get it fixed.. if drive straight should be 1.5 hour as the road is pretty bumpy.. almost all the traveller we met will encounter flat tire here.. also make sure u have a full tank before u go into the park. No petrol station inside.. the only one is outside the town 😂
You to visit Turkestan also... It's more like historical city... I was there and it's soo beautiful city of Kazakhstan

We make the booking through booking.com via Avis but they are really short of hands.. waited 1 hour 😂 the airport customer service help us contact the guy and confirmed they are coming.. so our patience paid off by an free upgrade 🙏🏼

We book in advance via booking.com the service provided by Avis. And yes we use Google map offline most of the time. We pay about RM3000 for a smaller car but luckily they upgraded our booking.

We don’t live like that back in Kuala Lumpur too haha.. just a moment of holiday we live in the dreams.. we took a break from our normal life and go for an adventure.. just a short few days road trips these memories keeps us alive too ❤️
