I have never used pool RX in the past, but watching this podcast I will put in a couple swimming pool a test with the pool RX and I'll let you know how good is.
Does this help fight against yellow algae? Will this harm plants that come in contact with? I drain my pool down after a large rain into my woods so I don’t want to kill my trees.
I use this product on my diatomaceous earth filter and the pressure was so high in two hours I had to bump the handle and then within two hours it went so high again I had to turn it off?
I used it on De filters and it makes the pressure go so high I have to shut the system down and bump handle to lower pressure and then the pressure builds up again within hours?
I started my 1st pool Rx at the end of last season. It definitely helps reduce algae and CL demand. My question is I will be at the 6 month usage window around early to mid swim season. Will I use poolrx PLUS booster/recharge kit or are they still making the standard kind?
I never go a season without this stuff. It really works.

This is an amazing product! I have been using it for 5 months already on my pool route.
I think I'll try it with the problem pools for starters.
You will like the results. 👍
Do you need this product if you added boric acid to your pool?
No, but they are compatible.
Can I use cal hypo with pool RX? Can I put in the skimmer basket along with my tri clor chlorine tabs?
You can. I wouldn't add it to the skimmer if you have trichlor tablets in the skimmer basket.
I’ve used several pool RX filters. It’s much cheaper to just buy copper sulphate in bulk and learn how to use that.

I believe once the minerals are in the water they are diluted enough for the situation you described. And yes it does prevent yellow algae.
Have the data once you try it you will want to use it all the time. I start using it on my pool route as soon as it gets up to 105 F

It's compatible. By then all of the orignal mineral will have been used up.
