As a tech starting out I had harbor freight cordless tools I had Dewalt at home then it was time to bring tools home to work on cars then I found myself not being able to charge my batteries at home. I work I found myself with multiple chargers. And as you know space on tool boxes is an issue. So I had to decide to on what one battery system to use. So with the vast platform Milwaukee has pole saw , chainsaw along with impacts for home use. It simplifies my life a lot. All my air tools are snap on. So now I am waiting for my Dewalt at home to die and they will be replaced with Milwaukee. And if I have a battery die on me at work I can bring one from home in the middle of the week and not have to wait on the tool truck.
First, that had to hurt admitting Milwaukee is ok, not a fanboy but I’ve got some pretty cool Milwaukee stuff. Second dammit Joe, charge your lights ! Lol hope all is going well at the shop, I’m rooting for you guys !
I love the Milwaukee m12 ratchets. I got a wicked deal on some Mac impacts, so I’m on the dewalt 20v platform for most things Ugga Dugga. I looked at the 12v system from dewalt but to me the Milwaukee ratchets can’t be beat for the price compared to the tool truck options

My high torque 1/2" impact is my go to. There ratchets are very cery nice. Sockets are made well. 3/8" m18 impacts is also my go to.

I wouldn't say fan boy, but have invested mostly in the m12 platform. The DeWalt mid torque is pretty badass though.

To specify I mean the m12 fuel ratchets. Never used the brushed models but the brushless high speeds kick ass
