I happened to run into this video right after making my own fire genasi wildfire druid (even down to also taking the Elemental Adept feat!), it's really interesting to see how someone else went about creating the personality of a mechanically near identical character (since combat-wise my character is basically identical to the embodiment of flame). Very short version is that he was adopted into a normal druid circle early in life, but they tried to teach him to control his flames, seeing it as a force of evil and destruction. Eventually, the forest burned down, and all but him died (since he had resistance). In the ashes, he saw the new growth even more lush than before, and concluded that fire was not evil, even if destructive. Roleplay-wise, he sees himself as a force of nature, himself and fire being one in the same. Though he does have morals, he lets it take a back seat to his ideals. "Sometimes, you just have to let the flames burn. It'll come back, in time. Nothing is permanent, least of which flame..." Additional note - my favorite spell flavor-wise is actually not a fire spell, but Wither and Bloom from SCC. The image of the land and creatures around an ally quickly succumbing the flames and turning to ash (necrotic damage) while the heat invigorates and restores the ally is just absolutely perfect!

That is interesting and I like the wither and bloom tip!
So I would try to get a few level in bloodhunter, since bloodcurse of exposure turns immunity into resistance, which perfect to burn their face off.
I want to do something similar to this but a a water Genasi
