Am I the only one who theses videos freeze on? It only is with Paul Bolin videos. I end up having to refresh the whole video and scroll forward. When ever I get back to the point I was where it froze, an Ad pops up. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
Growth plate closure is hormonal as I understand, however Is growth plate closure the product of testosterone or estrogen? Both boys and girls produce both but in varying amounts so do they each contribute to closure or only one?

Estrogen causes growth plate closure in both sexes. It boys, testosterone aromatize to estrogen and contribute to epiphysial closure.
