If you all want a workout that can enhance reaction time, try to improve your VO2 Max (look up how important it is to your overall health, especially as you get older). This is your body’s ability to throw around and synthesize oxygen, how efficiently and how quickly. Look up Kettle Bell Swing Ladders, and how to breathe so you can improve VO2 max. EVERYONE needs to be doing this, because reaction time is directly related to how well your body can metabolize and process chemicals from the air and move it around the body. Konpeki needs to research this and make a video about it. How VO2 Max improvement can enhance competitive gaming.
Nonsense. They are completely different systems. Reaction time is based on your nervous system. Your cardiopulmonary system has nothing to do with it. I suppose next you will be saying bowel health increases reaction time. Perhaps using better moisturiser to have healthier skin will help too, as will squats and yoga no doubt.
I was researching this a few days ago, I basically agree with everything said in this vid. Reaction time isn’t worth thinking about, just being alert is enough for most. An interesting thing I noticed is that (for me at least), my reaction time with mouse is WAY faster than my keyboard, which is like 100ms slower at most. Even still, it doesn’t feel like it makes too much difference.
because unless you have a wooting or something key presses only activate at the bottom of the click which has a much larger travel time than a mouse click.
I still don't understand how pros can hold micro angle and still hit shots... like the timing to shoot is so little I don't know how they do that. I mean it almost feel inhuman sometimes xd
If you see it in VCT it's because they are playing without any ping delay, and that makes it easier to hit shots like that (TenZ himself said that holding angles is king in LAN events).
Yeah same here. To be honest, even Tenz and shroud got destroyed a few rounds lately. That means, even the best aimer and the best valo player in the world, cant dominate in this game. I think its not really well made gungame wise to be honest. Sorry to say that.

i avg 150 ms on human benchmark. Scores between 140-160. What helps is: 1) a good mouse 2) high refresh rate monitor, mine is 144hz 3) sitting very close to the monitor 4) have some attention on your finger when waiting for green, this reduces the time it takes for your finger to move.
I feel like it has extreme importance at immortal, when I'm getting 220ms I end up bottomfragging and every single enemy feel like the flash is peeking, but when I'm on a 170ms day, suddenly I am the top frag. Because there is no time to adjust aim if I'm just slow. Everyone is too fast tbh. That's why I'm a complete nerd that plays unfair with abilities
i only have 2 questions the first on being, how do you do good entrance pathing in lower elo when its not always a safe option to rely on your team to hold other angles, comms are always important and i guess just trying to play off of them is there anything else? the second being how to anticipate different types of peeks. Anyways great video thanks!
When I strafe sideways, I get still headshots like I'm not moving at all. No I don't strafe with W + A or D. I just press D and get headshotet. Having an off angle also never helped me because I never know if the enemy is short peak, shift peak, wide peak or crouch peaking me. People in lower ranks are not as predictable as it is in higher ranks where everyone knows and uses all these fundamentals. Love this video!! :) I've always hated the myths that spread around about age and reaction time. Some people don't seem to understand that it takes a LOOOOOOOOONG time before your raw reaction time starts to significantly decline, they act like you die at 20 and doing anything after that is just hopeless... which is funny, considering a lot of athletes don't hit peak performance or peak raw reaction until their 30's, and even after that they can continue to compete without a problem for years to come. Look at Tony Hawk, an example of someone who has competed in a VERY risky and VERY dangerous sport for decades, suffered many debilitating injuries, and even then he somehow managed to thrive into his 30's and 40's and occasionally compete at top level when he isn't busy being a parent. It's obviously sad that there will come a time where everyone won't be able to do some of the things they enjoy anymore, but by that time we'll be thinking about retirement. It all feels like it's part of the general "age dooming" trend in the US, where people are going through severe depressive episodes and feeling absolutely worthless because society keeps lowering the "old age" threshold to the point teenagers will call 18-20 year olds "unc" or "boomer". It feels especially prevalent in gaming communities, and I'm glad to see videos dispelling the myths and bringing some POSITIVITY into the space. Im 19 & my reaction time is 450 ms 💀💀💀
you can always get your reaction time down, just practice , probably aim train too if you want faster, if you do not aim train it will likely take multiple years but still def possible . dont listen 2 people who say "its just genetics" , my 45 year old uncle has gotten down to a 160ms reaction time from his original 312, you can get there
@@joemogley so my reaction time is slower than ur 45 year old uncle original reaction time 💀 man i feel like turtle

what can I do if my average reaction time is 280ms?
because I'm only 17 and I feel my brain is slower than a 90 year old grandma
it’s likely your hardware, i used to get 250ms on an old pc, after an upgrade i’ve gotten 130-150, don’t be too harsh on yourself
@@thatkidliam4475mines 220ms but i feel like my pc is fine 1660s ryzen 3600x could it be my internet?
