You can somewhat measure development by evaluating year-over-year improvements on tape and through word of mouth. This is why grading an NFL Draft class before giving it two to three years is pointless unless it’s being used as a baseline to look back on down the road.

This seems like a slight back pedal on his previous stance. That being said I dont think its Isaiah's fault, however I do feel most of his sources are internal to the program and sometimes programs have agendas or narratives they need help selling once in a while. Exist on both sides.

Yes, star rankings definitely matter but my response would be Stetson Bennett. He was a 2 star walk-on in 2017, then transferred to a JuCo for playing time. The next season he returned to Georgia and led them to back-to-back Natty's. Elite recruiting is critical but in the age of NIL/transfer portal rosters will change more than ever each year.
This is a shift in tone! But with new information, people are allowed to change their mind.
The NCAA should be sued for violating coaches, players and all constitutional rights.

So I’m confused as of why lawyers for Michigan would be in talks with the NCAA before the notice of allegations has even been sent. Don’t the negotiations for punishment happen after the notice of allegation? I’m not going to sit here and claim to know how the whole NCAA punishment process works but what you’re saying just doesn’t make sense. Do you ever suspect that the university may use the media members by giving them ( inside scoops) just to put a positive spin on bad situations? Especially when they are trying to get recruits who maybe fearing harsh punishments maybe coming to the football program. It just seems like you get a lot of information that either has not proven to be right or is just outright false. No disrespect intended just questions.

@@MasonShinrock OSU has become very soft (silly putty). They have only been 139 - 17 (89%) since Urban came to Columbus in 2012. The Buckeyes have lost 8 conference games in the past 12 years. The Buckeyes are a bottom feeder. OSU's record is 239 - 46 (84%) since Jim Tressel came in 2001 (23 years). OSU was 12 - 1 in 2010 but vacated all 12 victories due to "tatoo gate." I expect the Buckeyes should have gotten the NCAA "death penalty" for players selling their gold pants and championship rings for tattoos. What they did that year was 10 times worse than what Michigan has been doing. I personally don't think that Michigan should even get a slap on the wrist.

Best winning percentage in college football since I was birthed, 7 national championships, 31 big ten championships, 6 Heisman Trophies, marched in two Rose Bowl parades and not a long drought in success. Michigan football was DEAD from 1951 - 1969 and 2007 - 2020. The Wolverines tend to hibernate for several years every other decade. Two Ohio State "men" (Bo and Mo) have accounted for 1/3 of Michigan's Big 10 championships. Indirectly, Woody had a hand in 29 Big 10 titles (13 at OSU and 16 at Michigan).

Arizona was accused of far less than Michigan, they complied with the NCAA investigation, and they still go slammed. Several B1G coaches had comments about the weird coverages MI was playing against certain formations and had the exact perfect play call to stop it. Shit if you know it's gonna be a play action pass, the lbs don't even have to worry about playing the run and play coverage right away. Maybe the second or two hesitation makes a difference in making a first down or a huge play. Bro, I fk that physical shit. We played the most physical team in the country the past few years, neck and neck, and they were way more physical and had way more talent than Michigan's has ever had. Last year, it was the 2 turnovers and missed fgs. We don't do those we win the game. 2022, the game got away from us at the end. We were within 8 with under five minutes left in the game to go, even after those 3 or 4 huge long ass runs. Stroud refusal to run when had an easy 4 or 5 yards really was catastrophic in the end.
