It’s day three in Indianapolis for Big Ten media days, and though Michigan is set to hit the podium on Thursday, we're taking a quick detour to have on a few special guests!
First, On3 Vice President and recruiting guru Steve Wiltfong joins the show to discuss the state of Michigan football recruiting. I have a hard time getting excited about recruiting. Guys are decommitming as fast as they are committing
They won't have that many players decomitting because they've stepped up their NIL game. NIL is not the singular most important thing to recruits. Michigans does not need to outbid everyone. They just need enough to complete the package Michigan can offer with it's success on the field, player development, nfl draft success and education. NIL is more hygenic. It only needs to meet a threshold. Michigan has gotten recruits beating out other programs that have offered bigger bags.
