had a 2000 CR80 i got as a Christmas gift from my parents it was the best gift ever, i'll never forget feeling that powerband kick on for the first time that bike could haul ass!
It’s more about Risk vs Reward. He was willing to take chances and catch the other riders slipping at the throttle. One of his passes on the Atv rider was sketchy because he was so close to the tree line and the Atv rider didn’t realize he was getting overtaken. He is a pretty good rider, though!👍🏾
80s are very torque 1st - 3rd...... everyBody who wasted $ on 250s are the 1s crying there not Big enough But there getting smoked on a track By the 80s LMAO
Wow a 80’s powerband really is a lot more top end friendly than an 85! I have a pitbike with a CR85 complete motor cradle welded to it and its unreal! It has crazyyy mid to top, then it dies off fast. The 80 has zero midrange but sings to like 13,000rpm!
CR80s aren't no joke 💪☺🔥 They will keep up with 250s, 350s & 450s if you can ride it to its potential against dudes who are decent riders or good riders. I leave behind my buddy on his 17 350 SX 🤣 and he can ride well. Can't wait for this summer to begin! Fresh EVERYTHING on my girl.
So true my friend had a cr 80 in the early 2000's it was a 98 model and people thought that my friend had done all sorts to it as it was smoking 125's and keeping up with 250s like you say but it was stock lol
@@bluedragon543211 yeah smfh I was changing the oil one day and I accidentally put it on tight and I stripped it so now I got to get the center case replaced. It ran great power wheelies in 4th easy. Just fucked up the clutch basket drain plug.

@@bluedragon543211 im getting her rebuilt again soon, its to much fun to waist away. And it had tons of power if there built and tuned right theyll keep up with anything else. The smaller bikes give you better control imo. They are not as good when it comes to obstacles due to the tire size but my 4 stroke 140cc modded pit bike screams for what it is and is a lot of fun I can't wait to ride a 2 stroke though for real.
Hi here, I read the question about weight/age but, can you tell me your height? I'm 5,8 feet and I'm afraid to see too much sun with a 14" rear tire ( Maybe you’re cr is Big Wheels model ?) and the power of a cr. Thank you from the south of France & Great video 👊
I know trails. People hate to share. They will do stuff to stop you from riding there. First time around you should ride slow and check for obstacles. Stay safe.
