One of the reasons why Emmerdale has always been my fave soap is the beautiful outdoor scenes. Gorgeous takes with great acting and ususally pretty dramatic stories? yes, my favorite.
Aaron- what's wrong with you? (Takes gun) Sam- that's what I've been thinking Aaron-how much have you had to drink? Lawerence- who are you? My nursemaid? Aaron's face after he said that. Gotta love him😂😂
Lawrence in a drunk, desperate mood is quite inventive and surprisingly good shooter. On the other front, Robert is dealing with his own insecurities like a brat. I'm sure Vic will sort him out.
I sort of love the duality in this storyline. Lawrence is what Robert would have turned into if Aaron hadn't put a stop to it all. And all Robert does is make snide remarks about it to a woman he utterly screwed over in the process. He is so smart, he can't fail to see the duality here unless he's in denial. Either way it's interesting.
This is why I can't warm to Robert, his smugness- I know some people find it cute on this channel (as with most things Robert does) but I don't. Why can't he just leave Chrissie alone out of decency. He was the one who cheated on her, he was the one who lied to her all the time, he was the one who married her while having an affair, he was the one who got her robbed at gun point, he was the one who made her think her son was about to do harm to himself when it was an act, he was the one who got her dad locked up after bribing some guy to claim Lawrence attacked him to get a share in the business. All she has done is rightly refused to take him back and still gave him a generous divorce settlement. You no longer see Chrissie even bothered about what is going on in Robert's life anymore and yet Robert will go out his way to make fun of a difficult situation for her... let her be
That's his personality, and that's the way he's been portrayed even before the current incarnation of Robert. Aaron's reaction is interesting - he obviously doesn't like it - but for now he's ignoring it because he has other things on his mind :) I'm sure this is something that will cause arguments and fights between them, if Robert keeps at it. Makes for good viewing, I think.
You´re right about that "for NOW he´s ignoring it". I think eventually, maybe in the distant future, everything will explode, as it should this being a soap and Robert being the type of character he is.
No argument here. Robert is an ass. I guess that part that is engaging for me is that he is a work in progress. His complexities are what make him an interest character.
His arrogance makes me both love and hate him. It's like, Robert you're an ass, but gotta admire your boldness. He really doesn't care what most people think of him, and it's interesting to see him get away with something that in real life would repulse and push away most people, myself included. I can sense this getting boring in the long run, though, and really hope they develop this part of his character as well.
***** Aaron was very alone. It was more that than anything at the beginning of their affair. Not to mention Robert was the one who pursued him, Aaron hadn´t really noticed him. I´m just enjoying Aaron and his own stories and waiting for their eventual break up (even if it takes years lol).
I hate Lawrence. And the actor who plays him. He is probably the worst actor on the show. No. He IS the worst actor on the show. I'm sorry but he just annoys me and the actor isn't very good at showing his aggression.
Honestly watching these kinda makes it seems like robert and aaron are just mates. Doesn't look like a couple tbh because they're always telling each other they're busy or something idk.
Robert teasing and winding Chrissie up first thing in the morning. He is such a shameless character with his 'hobbies'! And I love it!
yea me to
I just love when Robert just give it to people. We all love that about him.
yea

Hear, hear! Love seeing such wide shots of the Home Farm grounds :)
Sam texting Aaron for help is so cute
Aaron- what's wrong with you?
(Takes gun)
Sam- that's what I've been thinking
Aaron-how much have you had to drink?
Lawerence- who are you? My nursemaid?
Aaron's face after he said that. Gotta love him😂😂
Well, Aaron finally upgraded his phone!
I love Robert and Aaron together
Them jeans on Robert tho!! Can I get an amen!!!
Amen and a praise god for making such a fine specimen !
Hallelujah to them and to the man who wears them sooooo well!

Thank you so much for posting these!!
Lawrence was both funny and sad!
Miss this Victoria instead of the baby obsessed cow that's oblivious to Aaron's feelings, that we have now!!
Awww, Aaron and Sam
You don't get skeet shot action like this on other soap operas!
Oh, yes. Where is the fun in just breaking or burning?
would love to see Robert stalking Adam in the shower lmao
Love Robert 😆😆😝
I think it is cool how people in Emmerdale say "sauce" instead of sorry. It is cute.
Ryan Je sorry to burst your bubble pal, but it's "soz". Aka short for sorry.
oh well...to me it sounds like the word sauce. hehe. I love hearing these British terms.
Man-magnet Adam LOL!
