Rarely have I got to the end of a Part 1 and wanted Part 2 so much
Loving this series with Dario, Gordon and the team. Can't wait for Chris Harris and Henry Cathpole to do their road and track tests.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, what a treat and a privilege to follow this car through the development process, seeing the ‘warts and all’ prototypes that usually get hidden away.
I really hope that GMA are shooting a detailed documenting of what will be an historic automobile. Fascinating

I'm in love with the s! The niki weapon! It's even lighter and more horses! That thing is going to blow the car world on it's head! When it's all said and done in 30 years time it will be the ultimate machine ever produced and values of the 50 and the s with be like the 250 got ferrari! And absolute fortune!

I’m absolutely loving these videos. A car designed to be the best driving car ever made. No EV rubbish or hybrid tosh. A small but incredibly talented team striving for the best ever. Dario is so interesting and because of his racing career ask’s all the right questions. I’m literally tingling with excitement.
We need part 2. Like right now please.
ultimas really are a great mule car, people have stuck loads of different engines in them over the years
yep and depending on the engine they are as fast or faster that t50 going to be. so you know it can handle in if it fits.
The two of the mules for the original McLaren F1 were also Ultimas.

@@racerlog check out the guy (if you haven't done already) who is building an Ultima with a Lambo v10. He is on YT. I forget his name though. A hell of a package. It's such a versatile chassis.

All of the xp cars are named after royalty (past kings). Or maybe it's just st the mules that are named after royalty. I heard GM say it in an interview at some point

Gordon - PLEASE make a higher volume less extreme €250K "T-25" for car purists who don't have €2M to spend on a T-50! Light weight, naturally aspirated, manual transmission and 100% focus on driving immersion and feel! 🙏🙏🙏

It's amazing how far from the era of manual cars we are. It seems so odd to me that people find manual gearboxes "exotic" as someone whose only ever had enough money to afford small, light manual cars without power steering.

Was that XP steering wheel panel 3d printed? That's pretty cool to see that kind of tech being leveraged to let them iterate on designs quickly and get stuff up and running for testing with a little more finished look than say, an aluminum panel or a bunch of switches screwed to something.
Yes. And as I recall from one of the other videos the hood scoop/intake on George the Ultima is also 3d printed.

It's not gonna set the production car record, it's not built for that.
T50 won't have enough grip and downforce to do that.
Gordon has said from day 1 this isn't built for lap records it's all about the driving experience

Ì think the T.50 is not only an another achievement for Gordon Murray in his career but overall a revenge for the Brabham BT46 F1 (fan car) wich got shited out of the 78 F1 season after only one GP. No doubt, that COSWORTH V12 seems to be another marvel of engineering but i think it arrived unfortunately much to late . So now the question remain...Would the T.50 be a good platform for a full electric supercar???
No EV are heavy, GM can't stand that
@@r129r16pfl Tesla already did it with the roadster (like the one he sended to space) and the new one coming in 2023 wich are both similar to the T.50 in term of size. For sure some modification to the chasis would be required.
