This is such a neat idea! I've never tried any type of book binding, but my 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter always join the young authors competition at their school every year and I'd love to show them this tutorial and see if they might like to try this type of binding next time as opposed to the stapling of computer paper with a card stock cover :) I'm sure they will be thrilled to try it with me and I'm grateful for any great craft that I can try with them and see pride they have when they complete something new. Thank you so much for the great tutorial!

This is an excellent instructional video..you are very exact and calm in your description without a bunch a funny noises, stupid music, hand waving as some videos do that are so annoying...I get the idea they just want to show off their horrible manicures..(which they think is wonderful, who the flip cares !)..... great vid/tutorial. I sure like your presentation keeping focused on what is the topic of the vid. if i am not clear about something i just rewind. This one was my first fail! I liked the exposed spine idea but my cover from recycled calendar photo must have been too thin. (I used slices of weekend comic paper for the outer wrap... interesting words & phrases randomly appear by chance!). After 3 tries I added 2 extra holes and fell back to coptic stitching. "Secret Belgian" spine was a fun surprise!
