Losing Kingda Ka, Zumanjaro, Green Lantern, Parachutes, and Twister sounds like a disaster. That’s a lot to remove for ONE coaster. The smartest decision they could make is to convert it like TT2. They can use the left side of the station and have the spike rise above the space between it and Green Lantern. With a more safe reliable launch system maybe they can re-route the queue and open up the viewing area more! A fresh paint job, spotlights, and new epic music like WildCatRevenge would bring this area back to life. Do something with Temple of the Tiger like maybe a new Zamperla NebulaZ, new food maybe some fruit and BOOM… problem solved. New reliable ride (2) ✅ New refreshed area ✅ New landscaping/viewing area ✅
Like someone else said, taking down 2 coasters, a drop tower, twister, and the the parachute structure is a lot of work for one year. If Green Lantern opens next year then I don’t think it’s happening. Because I don’t think there would be much reward opening it again.
2025 is a big year but I think that this is an option. Next year will probably determine if it’s staying. If top thrill 2 can’t open for opening day then there is no question this will happen.
I’m hearing that nothing is official until SFEC makes an announcement. I think all these ideas floating around - don’t like to call them rumors bc they are impressive ideas - hey anything is possible. I’d be crushed to sing KK removed but if it has to, what do you think of them salvaging the tower to keep Zumanjaro?
Yea this is an interesting question that keeps popping up. Have not heard anything on what’s to happen with zumanjaro but would obv like to see them try and keep it around.
Mack strata coaster. I've never seen those words form a sentence before but it sounds like it could be fantastic. 450 ft drop leading into a 350ft world's tallest inversion possibly? Mack isn't afraid of going upside down
Even though el toro is my favorite roller coaster of all time next to steel vengeance Gonna miss ka man i love this coaster one of my favorites even though it's a short ride man this sucks and knowing it's gonna be gone forever is just gut wrenching i've ridding ka 150 times would love to see them keep it
I'll be really pissed if it gets shut down as I passed up my chance to ride it for a second ride on El Toro with the train all to myself. One of the bigger regrets I have when I went around the east coast to different parks.
I guess this is my last season going to Great Adventure. Jersey Devil becomes the only thing I want to ride there after Ka closes. I'm going to be a jerk and remind you all. Mack has never built anything over 300ft either let alone using LSMs on a 400ft structure. It's not Hyperia, which mind you had an issue at open too. Nor is it Voltron that is at their show park. I will keep showing love to my home park's, Giga, and hopefully strata.
My feelings exactly. Ka and JDC are the only things I ride a ton when visiting the park. I’ll use the All Park Passport to visit other parks but I will be done with Great Adventure
@ESSEN-nl7tg Thanks, I'm okay with people not liking the coasters I do. That attitude of some that you must absolutely love certain coasters or else you are a loser. Is why I call myself a coaster nerd instead of an enthusiast, plus I love learning exactly how the machines work.
@@coastersandbrews I get that but I feel it would cost less and would be better to keep the ride going with an extended layout and with an lsm launch. Hiring intamin and add lsms and extending would cost less yearly and would cost less than tearing it down and building something new that would never live up to ka. Improve don’t remove

A tell tale sign is def if green lantern stays or goes at the end of this season

We shall see for sure
Closing and Removing kingda ka will end up destroying the entire franchise.
This seems extreme lol
These rumors are fake guys. Don’t get worried
I had a heart attack thank you
@@Starlightrobloxtweening thanks for the real update this guy needs to stop spreading fake information
I was on the kingda ka ride today at six flags, But they did face some minor difficulties and closed a few times today

This would be so nuts lol
Bro this is so unlikly
I highly agreed.
Then they can kiss the phrase "Great Adventure" goodbye cus Six Flags Great Adventure will be nothing without this monster of a coaster.
Yeah this is bs...I mean it's been functioning..yes maybe down times..but.
It isn't top thrill.. seriously. Kingda needs a repaint that's it
Why wouldn’t they at least reuse some of structure?
That worked out really well for Cedar Point.

Do a reimagine on Kingda Ka like what got done on Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point.
Was told this is also being considered
Sure….but by Intamin…Not Zamperla 😂
@@Cheezbat what about B&M instead of either Zamperla or Intamin?

The 3.50 reference was too good
I want King Da Ka to stay and they build a giga by B&M along with it
Think we all would very much like that

@ESSEN-nl7tg It's ok. I think El Toro sucks so bad I call it El Boro.

I’ll be so disappointed if Twister goes away
It would be sad to lose a flat ride like that for sure
What would be the point of tearing down ka just to build a ride even if it is strata that would never live up to ka?
Reliability and lower yearly maintenance costs

No I went on it yesterday
Getting rid of 1 coaster for another is bad enough….
No way they will get rid of 5 for 1….
Well the parachutes are already gone
Well the structure is still there but yea ride hasn’t operated in 2 seasons
Fake new fake new
No no no
You’re telling me they are closing green lateen for “roughness” and NOT EL TORO. THAT RIDE ALMOST BROKE MY BACK.
Green lantern is 100 times more rough than El Toro.
Lmfao el toro is regarded as one of the best and my sought after roller coasters in the world so no
They’re not getting rid of Kingda Ka wtf are you talking about?
