This is Sandi Angerami from Nevada (and it is still 99 and 100 degrees in October!!!), and I wasn't able to watch your video on Thursday, the 1st, so I watched it tonight, Saturday, the 3rd. I have watched lots of your Elevenes series, and I just LOVE them. I do have all your books. The Toolbox, 2nd and 3rd edition and the first one I bought was "Genealogy Gems Premium eLearning, Companion Guide" I bought April 3, 2018. I must say I bought these 3 before I knew what was going on in the world of genealogy, but you provide such a wealth of information in each of your books. I need to re-read them for a refresher class!
I was so excited with this Google Lens video. I was able to follow your instruction and it made it easier for me because I have a smartphone and Google is already on the phone. But I googled Google Lens and downloaded it and WOW, was I amazed and excited! This is such a terrific tool for any picture or any object you want to know more about without plowing through other searches and spending hours researching! Thank you so much for putting this Elevenes together. I learned so much and I will be using it a lot!
And I love your "Teacup Tea" introduction to your Elevenes series. I have quite a few teacups I have bought in antique shops over the last 20 years, so I am going to take a few pictures of these and learn more about when they were manufactured and their life as a teacup using Google Lens app! Thanks!

@@GenealogyGems ..Well it is all true! I have been experiencing with Google Lens since I took your episode, and even showed my husband. We both experiment with Google Lens...his phone had it already downloaded and I had to download it my phone and we bought the same phone two weeks ago! So he has a few different items on his phone then I do!!! But it certainly lots of fun! I am taking pictures trying to find what Google has to say about two old clocks which were my great grandparents. They were left to me but I will continue on with Google! Thanks again for sharing all your valuable information! You are the BEST!!! Sandi

Is it possible to convert to Tables of converted text from image, in Google Lens? Just like nanonets, excel, etc.
I still can't get the icon to appear in my search bar, but at least have it on my phone's home page at top. Took a photo to show you. But the choice to add photo is not here. Sigh. Wish I was more techie at agd 76.

Does this work with Google Chrome also?
No. It's built into the web and app versions of Google Photos, and it's available through the Google search app for mobile. Here's an alternative - check out my video on Google Image search in Chrome: th-cam.com/video/dXb0DmtSH4k/w-d-xo.html
I am from Australia and tried to buy through Lulu but LENS discount code doesn’t work
The discount is at our website store which states US shipping only. Unfortunately Lulu doesn’t currently allow us to generate discount codes.
When Google Lens is searching...it shows like it is searching and it ends there..nothing comes after that. It does not searching at all, but it shows the word searching..but it is not searching. What should I do. I'm using pixel 2xl
