I've trialed the goalie version, with some horrible home-electrical-tape job to keep the controllers mounted to the blocker and glove. Took a little while to get it comfortable. I found a little bit of input lag at first, which I adjusted to pretty quickly. I did end up bumping the wall a few times and adjusted my guardian area to suit. However, I found the lag and the experience actually better once I had my 3m (10ft) link cable connected. Just felt smoother. Not as easy to do it with a link cable as a skater... the stick would get in the way I'd imagine.
