I watched another video Crosby stick is the opposite, it has almost no curve and is shorter to keep puck closer to him for puck control.
So its the same as Datsyuk's stick
Crosby does use a short stick with a flat blade but he also uses a very low lie, so he tends to always have his hands out I front of him and actually not that close to his body.

@@wiredrubric1710 its a totally different environment. I went from a house peewee team to a bantam aa. Theyll definitely teach you things a house team never would. Itll be good experience and a good challenge. The players usually are a lot more skilled as a player and as a team as well. Some will actually have thought out plans for whatever the goalies weakness is.

These are some of my favorite videos to watch. You should try that one stick that has a kink in it. Elevate stick. Just think it would be an interesting one. But keep it up, cause I’m lovin it haha

I know this video is old but I saw on the close up on the specs under the 87 flex it said G3. I’m pretty sure this is a stick designed to have all three different kick points. It must be wrapped as a 1s.

The guy in the bchl jersey and the penticton v’s was my assistant coach at the okangan hockey camp in penticton bc
You should look into ProStockSticks on Instagram and try the Rasky pro. Tuuka Rasks brother uses a curve that makes the Ovie look normal
Also he used the G3 build when with bauer. It’s the old nexus 1000 custom kickpoint which probably helped with the loading and deception in your shots. Look into that IG page if you haven’t already!

I use Bauer surpreme 180 and it’s has like SUCH a small curve. I tried the MX3 and it was way too much curve for me, and it was way too light.

The stick handling is all well and good but if you are going to use an Ovi stick you gotta try and few rippers. He’s the best shot in the league not the best dangler.

Odds are the reason why you feel your shot is harder is because of the stick you’re using, the supreme 1s, the 1s is designed for harder shots so that’s why you’d feel the extra pop
Connor Boyle it's a g3 construction it's just dressed as a 1s.
Joshua Reich yep and afaik g3 means literally 3 zones (low/mid/top) so you can pretty much design your own flex profile...g3 code actually tells very little about the stick as it can be similar to a midkick or crazy hybrid where its stiffest from the mid and soft from the low and top portions of the shaft
