My buddy and I have put a lot of time into (the good half of) that Gahanna rink. Sweeping, pulling weeds, zip tying the netting. I'm glad to see you calling attention to it because it's a FAR cry away from the rink I learned to play roller hockey on 20 years ago!

This dude is honestly insane. He is the reason why I started playing hockey and made my first house league just a few weeks ago after non stop practice so I just wanna thank Nasher for inspiring me. That and the nhl videos also made me start playing the games and I ended up loving them. Keep the content up cause it’s absolutely amazing dude thanks.
I live in Scotland where hockey is extremely niche. I would love if we had more places like this because it’s pretty hard for kids here to get out and play anywhere and improve other than on the ice which means they’re really only getting on once or twice a week. When I was a kid we used to play round the back of the ice rink in the car park and set up a couple wooden pallets as goals but we’d always get moved from there. Same with tennis and basketball courts which aren’t really great for playing hockey on anyway. I think having some rinks like this set up would be a great idea but unfortunately I could see them getting vandalised quite quickly as well.

I live near Boston which as you know is a huge hockey town and I can only think of one rink that is near me and Boston which pales in comparison to your seven. And the fact that the Blue Jackets built one of those rinks is amazing. I feel like I should be writing the Bruins about this.
Masher buddy you should 1000000% come to Pittsburgh area and do this. I know of probably 8 or 9 rinks. They are spread out and might take 2 days to get to all of them or most of them but it would be an amazing opportunity to come and see the city and I’d love to see it

It looks like he’s using a green biscuit roller puck in this video. I use those or the standard green biscuit pucks and they work very well I would definitely recommend them
