This is helping me make sense of something I noticed on our 2019 xp4 1000. We had 32” tires and a clutch kit, then added a 12% gear reduction later. High speed runs are awful now. I also dropped the tire size down to 30” thinking it’d help blow less belts. But no dice. If I understand the video right, since I have gear reduction now, I should remove the clutch kit?

I have a 2020 Rzr Turbo S. 32" tires. Stage 3 AA tune. Stage 2 AA clutch kit (standard helix) . 33% gear reduction in LOW. 11 % reduction in High. I use low for slow trails and high for grass track racing. The reason I did the reduction in High is because I want more performance further down the range as opposed to top end for exiting corners fast. It seems to work fine after 5hrs of racing in this set-up.
My question is, do you think I would benefit from a more linear helix ( like the AA 1031 ) ?. The only thing I would complain about on my set up, is it needs a bit more acceleration at 50mph (no need to add more top end speed) as my circuits are generally short between corners. ( so 50mph to 75mph needs to be quicker)

That sounds like a question for AA, we are not fans of their kit or the way it is made and have no idea how to set theirs up. Unfortunately we do not offer a 20 S kit

@@wideopen9791 That was part of my question, in the can am world I do not know gearing companies, I just not a SATV fan. Was hoping you bought from someone else and could share their name with me
