My little research is going on in Faridpur district of Bangladesh, taking this amazing fruit tree. My big wish is to spread this quality delicious and medicinal fruit trees to the finest of the country
Yeah. Some may require a wasp to pollinate them. I would suggest reading up on the pollination of figs. There are 4 types: Common, San pedro, Smyrna and Caprifigs. Within Caprifigs are 3 types. Confusing at first, I know, but important to know which is your tree.
I'd rather sell the fruit instead along with other sub tropical/tropical fruit. Maybe I'll sell some stuff that I one day truly believe in. You know like my overall top 10 or something.
ross ur trees are really healthy. i always enjoy ur videos. what are ur thoughts on panache and other stripped figs? do u find some grow better than others? are they worth having? as always thanks for the info.
At the end there, RDB if I heard you correctly? Like RdB, Ronde de Bordeaux? I should probably be favoring shorter season stuff myself so I just wanna be sure... My hearing isn't quite what it could be xp
Yes, he does. He actually has videos where he mentions some of the sites he likes most for figs. th-cam.com/video/eeS2s3SZDMI/w-d-xo.html that's the main one where he shares like four or five sites
Was any of your Verdino del Nord from an ebay lady in Italy? I forgot her name but I got one from her. Quite productive and very jammy. I wonder about your Martinenca Rimada though. It is one of my favorite here. It is quite productive though a slow grower. Very tasty. I wonder how I could send you a picture of my recently ripened Martinenca Rimada.
th-cam.com/video/eeS2s3SZDMI/w-d-xo.html In case you just want the info you mentioned... He got his fig from justfruitsandexotics.com. But in that vid I linked he mentions multiple of his favorite online sources for fig trees EDIT: sorry, justfruits is where he got his smith fig, to be clear
