It’s amazing how far along your figs are for Pennsylvania. You’re well ahead of me in NC and I’m almost to the SC border against the ocean. That greenhouse is paying off.
Great information and Greetings from Perth, Australia. This year I will start to pinch my first and so far only fig tree. I have the feeling it won’t be the only one for much longer.
We have the end of winter here now in Perth Australia (late August) and it is already quite warm during the day around 20 degrees Celsius. About 2-3 months ago I pruned my only Brown Turkey fig tree and got some cutting from other plants and just put one lot in a Water jar and another lot in peat after dipping them in hormone gel. Some sticks of both got some leaves and a few even small figs growing which I didn’t expect. Anyway today I have planted the ones with visible new growth although they didn’t look like they have many root, just tiny little white dots and I just hope they will keep growing. Any suggestions from you specialists are appreciated.
So much to learn. Just starting here in Harrisburg PA. If you ever have any rooted cuttings or air layers of that Azores Dark let me know. Look forward to next video. SalNick

Hi Ross I have a Chicago Hardy that’s over a year old that I bought from Home Depot Ross I am sprouting tiny leaves right about a mature leaf in instead of a figlet , right where a fig should be growing I’m getting another leaf and this is in many areas on the tree any ideas Ross?? Thanks my friend and enjoy those delicious apples you have
I've got a tree that is basically 3 main trunks from the ground and is 5ft tall now. Should I keep it as it is or select just one of them to be the main tree going forward? Right now I guess it's like an open center. Any advantage or disadvantage?
Good morning from Houston Texas. Watching here!

Leland? I'm in Southport. I've got a half acre backyard orchard. I've got a few fig trees and other fruit trees planted this year.
Brandon Hughes yep, I’m in Leland. I have 0.35 acres. You have me beat! Southport has that perfect climate. You can do a lot with that space, I bet!
@@TheMillennialGardener are you on instagram? I'm at @eden_on_the_coast
Brandon Hughes I am not. I’m not the biggest social media guy 😅
💚 thank you.

I have 365 days of no frost-free days what are your tips for this climate?
Good video Ross my grandfather pinched everything, so i do the same.
Hello from South Florida. Great video. Any thoughts on how long I should wait after potting to pinch? LSU Purple and Bordeaux.
Whenever it's a bit drier. Get them to fruit then. They'll be ripe 90 days after pinching.

Single stemmed tree produce better assuming your tree does not take cold damage every year.
works BEST for violette de bordeaux fig in N CA.....like 100'2 of figs I'll send you a pic
Following u from iran tehran I pinched my fig tree and stop growing all together pity wish I didn't do that temp here 39
Ur plant must be very small & younger then a year.
Cool the soil down. More water. It will continue to grow.
Does the tree have to be a certain size or age?
This can work at all ages assuming you are performing the technique properly.
Can u say the variety of my fig tree and it's pic is in ur messenger
