    Would you have a version of this where the upstairs bedrooms do not share a wall? I prefer for each person to have as much privacy in their bedrooms.

      I do not have a version like that at the moment, but will keep that in mind for the future!

      @@janderenderings do you have a cost per sq ft. Plus I'm from Canada is this good for cold winters as I will spray foam insulation with heated floors and geothermal

    • @janderenderings
      @janderenderings  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@dionschlosser9200 cost can vary A LOT depending on what finishes you put in it, plus the cost of materials is fluctuating daily, but if I had to guess I’d say anywhere from $75-$125/sq. ft. Your contractor should be able to give you a more precise cost based on your spec’s and market in your area.
      A well-insulated barndominium can definitely keep you warm in the winter (and cool in the summer)!

    How sturdy are these homes ? I adore the open floor plans and I’m looking at how I can make this work.

    • @janderenderings
      @janderenderings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      “Sturdiness” depends on the products used (metal structure vs wood, floor system specs, etc.). Keeping the second level of this home over the master suite allows the openness in the front of the home without the worry of supporting a floor above. 👍

    Hello, Can you please tell me how to buy these plans? I love this house. Does it include a material list??

    Like all but the straight shot stairway...,need to brwak that up, maybe into a side loft reading area that continue up to 2nd floor.

    I've looked at a lot of Bardos liking the idea but not finding a floor plan that I felt I could enjoy actually living in until I found your company. This one is my favorite! The kitchen and dining area, the master bedroom... I absolutely love it. I need 5 bedroom though! :( Decisions, decisions, do I chose the 6 bedroom plan which I also like, or do I kick a couple of the kids out? Hmmmm. This is going to be a tough decision! Maybe make them sleep in their cars!? Do you modify your plans at all? I'm wondering if 2 of the garage stalls could be converted into 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom.

    • @janderenderings
      @janderenderings  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've slept in my car before - not a terrible option! 😆 Shoot us an email (ansley@janderenderings.com) and we can come up with something!

    I will be buying this set next week. Is there a chance you can make the top gable roof a single slope? High point above the garage.

      I do make small changes upon request for an additional fee. Please email a list of changes you’d like to ansley@janderenderings.com for a cost estimate.

    Cost to build something similar in Arizona?

    • @janderenderings
      @janderenderings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not a contractor so I’m not 100% up to date with costs, but I tell people anywhere from $75-$125/sq. ft. The cost can vary a lot depending on finishes, terrain, and other factors. Its best to get an estimate from a local contractor.

    Hi, can you tell me the square footage of this build?

    • @janderenderings
      @janderenderings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      2,736 heated sq. ft.

    • @christopherbarber274
      @christopherbarber274 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @J&E Renderings Probably a stupid question, but does that mean 2736 NOT including the garage, just living space? Or is that including heating the garage?

    • @janderenderings
      @janderenderings  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@christopherbarber274 2,736 sq. ft. is not including the garage or porches, just living space. Total under roof (including garage and porches) is 4,431 sq. ft.
