Hi Bob and Jenny. Having lived on the island all of my 57 years I was pleased and proud to hear your positive comments about the place, in this and your previous videos. Being blessed with good weather was obviously a bonus, but it was so refreshing to hear someone say that there IS plenty to do here. Many folk seem to complain that we don't have massive theme parks etc, etc.....but if you like walking, cycling, visiting historical buildings, incredible scenery etc, etc there is so much to do. Completely understand your comments about the narrow lanes etc.....an issue I encounter on an almost daily basis in my works van. I guess you get used to it though. Hope you'll both come back sometime. 👍
Hi there, bob, Jenny & poppy, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the isle of wight. It's so lovely there, & quite a lot to see & do. The food in the photos looks yummy. Look forward to your next trip. Take care, lots of love. Linda xx ❤
Bob I remember staying at Morn Hill and being awoke in the morning by a tapping on the roof. The pitch I was on had a cherry tree over it. The birds would eat the cherry flesh and drop the stones onto my car and van. During the course of the day nature took its course and my vehicles were covered in white and purple mess. I now check above the pitch when it is cherry season.
A very nice video with the crossing back from Wight and the arrival at your new site, and I certainly agree with Bob the pictures on the walls in the bathrooms are fabulous!!!!!👏👏
Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy, really enjoyed this tour, you have visited so many lovely places. Soon back to the uk. A lovely campsite, looked very nice but very hot. A well deserved visit to the pub, enjoyed the photos at the end of your video. X Julie and Tony x
Hi Bob and Jenny we did 7 days and we still didn’t see. Everything, so much so we have booked again for 9 days in June next year. will see you at Somers wood in October.
Hi Bob. Must say I really enjoyed your tour of the island. I live just outside of Lyndhurst and have never taken the van across the Solent. A must do now me thinks. Totally agree with you on the “ No Mow” areas at Mourn Hill. I think for all the money the club spent on it, I thought these ares looked very untidy and spoilt the look of the site. Trust me there are many thousand’s of acres in Hampshire where the bees and and birds can thrive. Wait a few weeks before it all starts dying back. It will start to look like a bomb site. Me for one, much prefer a neat and tidy site. Anyway. Thanks again for all the great videos of your travels with Jenny and Poppy
Sad to leave the IOW. We had a week there when we visited and we didn’t think that was long enough. Morn Hill looks nice, one for us to try sometime. The extreme heat in the van is a real issue for us and the dogs but we try to take all the measures necessary to keep cool. It’s a while since we have had a pub lunch although we did find a few nice places in France. Safe onward travels 😃🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Well there’s another incredible improvement at Morn Hill. I have heard that some traditionalist members of the Caravan Club say they have ruined the atmosphere there but having seen both your videos I think the £millions have been well spent. On another note… it may be an idea to remind your viewers how to search your back catalogue, like I did to find videos to compare different sites and what to do in the area. You have a huge catalogue of videos and at this time of year whilst planning trips, it could help with decisions with where to stay 👍🏻😃 Trev
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Certainly is Bob, that and the M3. I have relatives in Southampton so know the area. Great to see places I recognise. Thanks for all your hard work with your videos
Great video Bob & Jenny as always very interested in your wireless mics you have as our go pro media mod mic isn't great when you turn the camera round,
I use the Rode Wireless Go2 mics. However, the media mod has a setting you can choose whether to use the front, rear or the GoPro mics. I set a profile that uses the front mic, called standard and another that uses the rear, called selfie. With the media mod fitted, tap and hold on the video settings shortcut icon at the bottom centre of the screen, scroll down to 'media mod' and choose which mic to use. Create another video setting with the other mic. community.gopro.com/s/article/Media-Mod-How-To-Use?language=en_US
It is the craze here along the South Coast. No mow but no wild flower seeding and let the grasses grow full of sharp seeds and parasites for our dogs. Hate it as poorly managed. Councils are doing the same.

We always try to avoid trees, especially pine trees!

Blimey that's changed for the better there Bob! As the old pub at the bottom of the site closed now? ( Jolly farmers).👍
Think that's the kitchen place now.

Thanks, that's why the Ecoflow Wave 2 was so useful. We'll see you soon!
Did you not have a drive through Shanklin? You had good weather for your holiday and the site at Winchester looks really nice.
No, we missed so much.
We loved the map graphic! We laughed lots!
Winchester is lovely. I haven't been for a long while so I'd like to take Mr GST some time.

Yes, good idea. We were planning on a video on watching on Smart TV too.
It's the M27, always packed
That's a nightmare motorway then.

I think you seemed to see some of the best places of the IOW , loved all videos, now seeing what Winchester offers ☺️never been there. X
Glad you enjoyed it!
Map graphics a great addition. Well done.
Glad you like it!

Yes, tend to agree, Jenny got several bites on the campsite. Good for the bees though, which is important.
Seems quite bad road noise at Winchester?
Not too bad where we were, the mics pick it up quite clearly.
Is that right IOW has its own mini Climate .prop expensive did? u notice
Can't say I did, it was hot everywhere that week.
