Love James Brown 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎 great music 🎶🎶🎶🎶
Keep the James brown reactions coming girl !!! ❤️❤️ love from America
I miss those days and that kind of raw style and talent.......SOUL BABY!!!!!! THE GOAT!!!!!
One must remember, some fo these clips go back to the mid to late '60's, early '70's with Bootsy and Phelps Collins, on bass and lead guitars, respectively, and beyond.
Catfish Collins
He was a great entertainer and full of energy.😊
Young James Brown... JEEZ
The Band is so on point!
Michael, Prince, and all other black performers had to take a seat in James Brown's classroom FIRST to see the ultimate fusion on mind, body and soul ALL come together as one.
At 8:30 that was a clip from 1983 at the Beverly Theatre in California and that was Michael Jackson who came up on stage with Mr. Brown. Mr. Brown was his idol Michael credits him more than anyone else of influencing him. He said that at 2003 at the BET awards when Mr. Brown was given the lifetime achievement award and he also said that Mr. Brown’s funeral in 2006.
The first version of the song you heard was when he redid the original arrangement in 1970 and that was a performance from 1971. The second version you heard that started at about 7:30 was from the Bell auditorium in Augusta Georgia in 1969 and it was based on the original arrangement of the actual single that came out in 1969.
The hardest working man in show business.
Also check out the TH-cam clip of his twenty minute set on the T.A.M.I show in 1964.
💯👍❤️
You are right Fay, Jagger and Michael Jackson got their moves from James Brown. I am happy that I saw him life once :)
Both Michael Jackson and Price got their style of dance from James
Well if James Brown did a one hour or one hour and a half show no he did not dance to the whole show. He sang ballads and he stood still some time and just move his legs and he would explode and dance moves. These clips are from About 1969 all the way up to about 2000 so he was about 36 years old to 67 years old here
As you can see Michael Jackson got so many of his moves from James Brown
