    Gorgeous!! 😍 I LOVE the large couch in a studio ~ instead of a small loveseat like most people do. It actually makes the space look larger. 💙

    What a lovely apartment. I like all of the personal memorabilia from your parents/grandparents.
    Suggestion: perhaps get a small, but low bench for Ella to get on/off bed. We’re all getting older!

    It's a lovely space, but I'm curious why so many people who have small apartments chose to put their beds by the windows. Personally, I'd want my living room space by the source of natural light, and I'd choose to sleep further from the light.

    • @Sunflowers9191
      @Sunflowers9191 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because as soon as you come in you see the bed..

    • @CharlotteIssyvoo
      @CharlotteIssyvoo ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Sunflowers9191 I get that but if I lived there I think that would bother me less than having my sleeping area taking up all the light.

      @@CharlotteIssyvooit’s all one room! Barely makes a difference what’s where in terms of light.

    • @CharlotteIssyvoo
      @CharlotteIssyvoo ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Person-mh6xq In this room, yes, though I'd still want the windows to be near my "awake" spot in the space. But I've seen people doing it where it actually does make a lot of difference. Of course, if they prefer that, no problem, it's their home. I'm just curious about why they prefer it.

      A a person who has a kitchen island as a headboard in a studio apartment, I’d be over the moon for that hallway Murphy bed.

    This is a beautiful renovation! The bed actually kind of “disappears“ into the wall because of the similar colors. Nice choice.

    I'm so curious - did she buy this apartment? Is this hers or did she do all of those renos to then have to move some day?
    It's a really nice space, she did a wonderful job - - looks like it was done professionally. Great color choices & that kitchen is so adorable. : )

    IMO ..I would of arranged the furniture ( & had different style) differently in this large space studio. Nice to have that nook for table & chairs. Would of used more vertical space for storage.

    The Murphy bed where it was makes more sense to me instead of a bed off the kitchen, but if it was a hassle to put up and down, I get why she would remove it.

    Not stale magazine-like. More realistic. Love the classic bathroom and separate kitchen. I'm wondering how she dealt with all the construction dust. My apartment had gotten covered in it thanks to the new landlords that had bought my old apartment.

    It's June 2023 and it's still "during Covid" since we haven't eradicated Covid yet. I never know what time frame people are talking about when they say that. Do they mean the height of Covid, like summer 2020, or some other time? Anyhow, love the channel and checking out small spaces!

    I have to respectfully disagree that the huge cobalt blue sectional makes the space look larger. I think it eats up all the space and it's so tight in there that you have to walk around the arm of the sectional to get past it from the entrance. Wrong scale for the space. And the artwork placement is not working for me either. But it is a nicely done renovation IMHO.

    The coffee table makes her apartment look cluttered.
    I think she can do away with the coffee table.
    She already has a regular table.
    Coffee table should mostly be used in larger spaces.

    I don't mean to be negative but, why would she buy such a small space? She will have to move if anything changes in her life. This is a place you rent not buy. I think it only makes sense to buy if you live in a space for more than five years.

    • @Sunflowers9191
      @Sunflowers9191 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is probably all the could afford? Buying is a good investment though, I’m pretty sure if she’s deciding to sell it down the road she’ll get great value out of it. But I do agree with you that personally I’d never buy a studio apartment, heck I wouldn’t even rent one. I just really need a separate bedroom anyway from my kitchen.

    • @susannovak8263
      @susannovak8263 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      First of all, when you say “but“ everything you’ve said before is meaningless. Secondly, everyone makes their own decisions based on where they are in life (including financially) and what their plans are. What’s good for you would not necessarily suit everyone. Give people credit for their decisions. They know their situations better than you do.
