Did a quick comparison to the older DMH-Z6350BT , but please comment if there's anything I've missed! The older model is a 'tier' higher than this andcosts a little bit more (~$90 more on sale at the time of writing) Pros of this model: +Has USB CDP Quick charge for android +Has Weblink (Wired) Pros of the older DMH-Z6350BT +Seems like smoother animations & nicer home screen layout +Has Native USB C port in the rear (Incldues C-A Adapter) +Has 3 pairs of 4V RCA Pre-out (Arguably better for Amps) vs 3 pairs of 2V RCA on the newer +Has HDMI (Type D) input +Has 2 Reverse Camera inputs +Has Amazon Alexa (This integrates with Alexa smart home which is nice), browser, weather (need wifi connection) +Has Full RGB Button illumination colours & Brightness control (vs just the preset colours on this) +Has home screen customisation Apart from that, seems like everything else is the same. Might end up going the older tier up model just for the smoother animations & higher voltage output for an amp.
I am having trouble setting up the steering wheel controls on this model (it is greyed out). I purchased the complete kit for my 2015 WRX from your online store. Do you know what I may need to do?
@@cazzjay This fixed my problem. I bought a bunch of Aerpro adapters. One of them had a 'park brake' wire. You need to ground that, otherwise the Steering Wheel Controls menu item is greyed out. Luckily in one of my other adapters there was a GND wire, and I just connected park brake wire to that, and then it worked.
i have this unit and cant use the weblink option i have a Samsung s20 ultra 5 genuine cord comes Type c to C Not Usb A to Type C So my problem is the cords First off went to Autobarn To buy a Belkin USB A To C Short cord the Fit into the Pioneer DMH-A5450BT usb plug Error Message Unsupported USB Device then Made sure All Software on phone was updated And weblinkhost was updated Try again Same error message. So on ebay Purchased areopro Cords and few other Types Still Nothing same error message i Wanna Mirror My phone to the screen For many reasons Any ideas What to do ???? Hope you can Help or Someone on Here thanks in advance. Regards Dean
Hi bro, I use original samsung cable which has USB type C in one side and USB in the other side for my samsung note 10, connect to my DMH-ZF8550BT. And it works to mirroring my phone through weblink

@@kezi7043 check if your cars loom has any input going into the park brake cable. Mine did not. Can fix this by grounding the park brake wire.
