    I love them as tools to spend less time on the technical part and more time to do what actually matters; to get the music faster out of my head into ableton. It’s a real time saver aswell.

    • @MondoLoops
      @MondoLoops  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah can be great time savers and sanity checks, having a reasonably fast work flow for me has always been super important so you don't get bogged down with the technical stuff and loose track of the big picture! Are you using any other AI VSTs at the minute?

      @@MondoLoops I.m a big fan of the whole Isotope series, that all for AI. Next to that I use instacomposer2. It is a chord generator, not an ai
      but it can create multiple patterns at the same time. Enough together creative with.

    I use Ozone AI Mastering assistant sometimes - honestly it's hit or miss, but it can act as a sanity check when working alone. Obviously AI Art generation makes cover art a breeze.
    Not worried about AI music taking over just yet, I think people still look for that human connection with artists they listen to/

    • @MondoLoops
      @MondoLoops  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah there are some great ozone tools but the full mastering analysis was super hit and miss for me too, have you tried any of the sonible stuff? I think once they can replicate acoustic instruments then I'll start to get worried!

    Regarding AI, it depends entirely on how it is used. That's not too different than anything else I suppose.
    Thanks for the content!

    • @MondoLoops
      @MondoLoops  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah agreed, often people resist new tools but lets not forget how much easier it is to make music now vs 30 years ago, you can focus on the important stuff more and worry less about the technical! Are there any AI tools you are using at the minute?

    • @wolffcaleb1
      @wolffcaleb1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MondoLoops I completely agree, and better tools doesn't inherently equate to better music but I do believe AI is a different beast than anything we've seen in the past. With respect to my life, I'm not using AI for music production but I use a few tools at work just about every day. For context, I'm a Software Engineer by trade.

    Ill stick to using my mind to make trackes! All these automatic chord software and AI software are for lazy people who want to bypass the learning stage and have instant gratification...

    • @MondoLoops
      @MondoLoops  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Definitely a lot of shortcuts these days, I'm not personally against all uses of tools like this as I don't think taking the odd shortcut is bad once you understand the process but neglecting to learn the basic principles of what the AI tool is doing is probably a bad Idea!

    • @SimonGrossMusic
      @SimonGrossMusic ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think its a narrow view to just call it lazy. Is it lazy to use vsts and dont learn all the Instruments yourself? Is it lazy to use pre-mixed drum Kits? Yes it can make some parts easier, but therefor you can work more on other aspects. If you wanna be lazy, you can allready be lazy and just put no effort in your music. And there will be people that use AI and put more effort Into their stuff, just in different aspects of it. Its not like Black and White, and does not dependt on the Tools you use imo

    • @NathanChisholm041
      @NathanChisholm041 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SimonGrossMusic I don't use samples I make everything from scratch! NO loop packs and I mostly have hardware and I know my synths inside out. I don't care what people use but using AI is stepping over the boundary. One day there will just be a button you press to make a hit song!!

    • @Rio-uv1gs
      @Rio-uv1gs ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@SimonGrossMusicDont let anyone tell you which way to do things. Do what you want. People who try to shame others(intentionally or unintentionally) into doing things the way they do it or feel it should be done want everything to always stay the same. To them if something is "easy" they feel like its cheating or not authentic. What they don't realize is the generation before them think they're doing it wrong.. So perspective is everything and there's mutliple ways to achieve the same goal and in the end music is about creativity not the tools that get you there because those tools we use are always changing...
