@@trimlesscoasters Your comment shows how little you know about Colossos. The Trim on the first drop is there since opening day back in 2001, because during testing the ride turned out to be much faster than intended. Not long after that the trims on hill 1 and shortly after that downhill hill 2 where also added, all pretty much within the first year of operation. All trims where added because it often ran faster than it was intended and designed for. The Retracking and refurbishment of the ride added the trim that is uphill on hill 2 and before the Helix. The only Trim on the ride that is active 100% of the time is the one on the first drop as it is required to keep forces on the entire thing within safe margins, both for the riders and the ride itself. All other trims are only active when actually needed.
This ride looks fantastic, but all this does is remind me that El Toro is in serious trouble 😥. A few years ago I'd've been confident that Six Flags would take care of it no problem, but with their new, super cheapskate CFO, they may be forced to scrap it instead of shelling out the money.
Really good wooden coaster but it was way better before the retrack, the last hills gave ejector airtime instead of floater
Hear that six flags? Retrack your own prefab please! #saveeltoro
And downgrade it with trims just like they did with colossos?

Classic wooden layout. Very nice.
Its not a classic wooden layout😂
Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. Thanks for posting this.
Why is the lift hill so eerily quiet?
Cable lift instead of the traditional lift chain
Edit: nvm, I have no idea
I think it's a new type of anti-rollback dogs on the trains.
My Homepark 😀
Is this magic mountain?
No, this is Germany. The Colossus at MM is white.
This ride was closed for three years!
How are these people so calm on that coaster?
Look at the back row video, there's nobody else riding it...
