I'm a little disappointed in myself that it didn't occur to me that the exploding spiders are the firebombs of Skyrim (fireball is a spell not a consumable so it doesn't count).

@@largeboi5899 Firebomb runs allow Firebomb equivalents as well, so the other explosive spider aside from fire elemental ones would also be usable. And the Oil spiders would arguably also be usable.

I literaly downloaded Skyrim last week for my yearly "mod it till you have to reinstall, then mod it again and play some in the end". Actual 20h of modding later, it's worth it, it always is. Go for it, download the game B]
@@ruipereira4134that may work for some, but in absence of spellcrafting, skyrim's base spell list isn't varied enough for me, I need more necromancy and telekinesis to work on people, more vampire spells, and so on, the basegame lacks a lot of spells that people yearn for
I still can't believe these are actual game assets and not a mod, considering how jank it looks when you're holding them.
That's just not right mods are less janky then the original code usually for Bethesda
With these in the game I'm genuinely surprised nobody ever made a set of trapper or alchemist bombs.
It's Bethesda, the only consistent things they do are releasing glitchy bug ridden messes and breaking things more when they try to "fix", "improve" or "expand" them. Jank looks are just par for the course.

I know you're making a joke and I'm sorry if this ruins it, but I think it bears mentioning that the source of the "drug- and/or knife-filled candy" scare is a case where a child fatally OD'd on drugs an adult in their household left lying around and the rest of the household all decided to cover for the one responsible.
The "Shout" song was TOP NOTCH man, that had me rolling. That song was soooo popular when I was a kid so I recognized it immediately haha, good job.
Ah spiders. My favorite consumable in Skyrim I've never used because making them is such a pain. I predict the hardest part of this run (besides the literally impossible part we all know is coming, rip all skyrim challenges that involve not dealing direct damage) is going to be getting enough spiders to do stuff.

Just a future note if you are interested Barron the easiest way to get an amulet of talos I believe is to take it off of the corpse of the man who is beheaded in solitude when you first enter the town. It's saved me a lot of time trying to get one that doesn't involve lots of walking or killing someone. Hope this helps for future runs. BTW this was a great episode keep up the great work.

That's a good thing, Fromsoft hasn't made a new tenchu game since 2007, fromsoft hasn't made a good game since 2009, the new catalogue just doesn't compare.

So glad you did this run, and that I was right with my guess on your community post. I have severe arachnophobia, but the spider scrolls are a big part of what made me realize that said fear only extends to real in person spiders, and not those in video games. They've since become one of my favorite "weapons", and at one point years ago I even made a quick custom mod to give myself a spell version of them so I could use them to my heart's content.
You can tell Baron felt strongly about Paarthunax because that's the only time he actually did the murder himself.
I shudder to imagine what twisted images Baron must see in his dreams to conjure these challenge videos. With that said, another banger video by our favourite souls-born schizo. Happy Halloween, Baron!

I learned you can mash to pick up multiple stones at once for the Crown of Barenziah. And omg its so much more bearable

also little info if you or anyone dont know but after handing in the stone you can just run straight to western watch tower and head towards the tower enough to trigger guard to say the dragon is still near and it instantly starts you needing to kill the dragon

Am I afraid to be run over by a truck? Not in the least. That's how 60% of Isekai adventures begin, when the almighty God of Isekai comes looking to reincarnate a hero from earth. But you can't just seek out Truck-kun, it doesn't work like that. You have to actively be trying to preserve your life and make the game challenging for Truck-kun otherwise you don't reincarnate as anything good, if at all.
Y'know what'll help with Falmer? Muffle. Falmer detect by sound so Muffle works like Invisibility against them.

the fact that you did this run without the infinite (spider) scroll glitch is really nice, i wouldnt even have minded you to use that glitch itself since that would just have made the run faster not necessary easier since once you unlocked the necessary crafting station most of the run was just grinding gems and thats it, it wouldnt necessary have made the run easier just faster
Should be called “can you beat Skyrim with only spiders….without having the insanity of a South Korean man named ymfah because I’m pretty sure he did this sort of thing in his pacifist run…technically not the entire game but he did most of it with the mind control ones
