I lived in Lagos for a few years a long time ago and had the greatest pleasure meeting and getting to know so many proud and funny Nigerian parents expecting more than the best from their daughters and sons. Gina’s interpretation is spot on! She is a top notch comedian.

Gina Yashere is ridiculously wealthy as a producer, writer, production company owner, and performer. She may not be a Tyler Perry or Oprah Winfrey, but she’s got a nice little empire.

Gina is hilarious and I am so proud of her what she has achieved in her career and the waves she has made and is making stateside. I met her a few times back in the day on the London scene. Always lovely and funny. Very kind lady. We had a black comedy scene back in the 90’s & naughties which made it to main stream. Gina was a big part of that. So sad how we don’t have that anymore. It’s a disgrace That it’s still the case in 2022. Great to see Gina on Sherri.
