      great video but one question I put up the other type of light that you had where you can adjust the angle the 3 blades and couldn't use it with the motion switch b/c it would just continue to flicker. I'm assuming these UFO lights don't have the same problem. Any knowledge on that?

      I did not have that issue with mine. I do not know what would cause them to flicker like that. I know some bulbs aren’t compatible with dimmer switches, so maybe some aren’t compatible with motion switches. Thanks for watching!

      @@EverydayBuilds US$40.00 each = automatic Chinese junk. Not US standards approved and all delivering a 1/4 of their claimed Lumens. Total scam. For your information 65,000 Lumens is provided by a single 750 watt Osram Powerstar metal halide bulb that cost approx US$200-250 each. To get 65,000 Lumens with LEDS at your ceiling height would set you back at least US$3,500-$5,000 installed. They will all be actively cooled and made to US safety compliance standards. The USA actually make a large range of very high quality LED hi bays however they are in the order of 10-20 times the US$40.00 POC you hold in your hand at time stamp 2:41. Get real kiddo.

    Hey, thanks for doing this, having a camera in the attic is not easy. Great job.

      Yeah, definitely not. Especially when it’s about 115 degrees up there, lol. And you are welcome!

    Really liking your channel! Are the lights still working without issues? And for screwing in hooks and eyebolts, I’ve always had success with putting a separate hook into a drill and using that to run the hook/eyebolt up into the wood instead of a screwdriver.

    Why outlets instead of snipping the plug off the lights and wiring them to the existing light runs? Fixing to do a similar swap but trying to figure out the best approach!

      I did it that way in case one ever dies or I want to switch them out for different ones. Easy to just unplug and swap them out 👍

    Are these durable? I wanna know if they'll last. Great video!

    • @EverydayBuilds
      @EverydayBuilds  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      All I can say is they seem to be built really well and LEDs typically last 10-20 years. And doing the installation this way makes it very easy to swap out if there ever is an issue. Thanks for watching!

    • @EverydayBuilds
      @EverydayBuilds  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t remember exactly, but I think they were all about 8’ apart.

  • @Belg1970
    @Belg1970 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What's the recommended spacing on these units?

    • @EverydayBuilds
      @EverydayBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว

      It varies based on ceiling height.

    If u turn the power off before messing with the outlet there is no use for the electrical tape........
