Git that Kubota ready, we`ve got some snow coming for a couple days. Hope you don`t get hammered to hard over there! We`re suppose to get anywhere from 6 to 18 over here in the Watkins Glen area. I`ve got our BX23s ready to roll! Full of diesel, and the tender plugged into battery! Be safe brother!!!
Install Romex connectors to protect wires from metal fixture housing. Otherwise your good, nice job and lights.

I went all out on the lighting in my shop. The only difference is I installed a regular plug in and wired the lights with a plug, so, if the light fails I can just unplug the light and install a new one. The shop is looking great
Very Nice Scott! Sounds like you've got plenty of light.. you literally can never have too much light in a garage doing repair work lol. My father has LED lights with a regular plug as well, they are nice as they daisy chain together.. I wanted something a but more permanent and clean though. Thanks for watching!
I'll be doing the same. Probably wire them all up with a plug before taking them up in the scissor lift. I hate fiddling with little stuff in high areas with that thing swaying back and forth.

Hey thanks man, the lights work fantastic and it made a huge difference in the shop being able to see properly what I’m working on. As for the setup in the shop and the design, I did have a bunch of plans in my head for years but did most the planning a few months before the actual build.. such as garage location, door locations, concrete, drains, etc.. its enough to make your head explode because the last thing you wanna do is regret something major that you can’t work around or live without.. all in all I think I just about nailed it aside from a few minor things I may have done differently had I known better. That being said I’m very pleased, tbanks for the comment!

Very cool! What size is your garage? These lights were even brighter than I expected specially with their small form factor. Hopefully you get yours all finished up before spring too!
@@BiffsEquipment My house got flooded out in the recent floods in Auckland, New Zealand. Replacing the bottom metre of the plaster board for the whole house and a new kitchen. Living in a small cottage at rear of section., Garage is 5 metres by 5 meters. Early autumn over here. Hope to be back inside home 2 months maybe.

Thanks for the tip with the suspended ceiling hangers. You probably saved me a good 3 hours of installing eyebolts by hand.

Mike, should you use a connector to fish your cable into the light fixture ?!
Wouldnt hurt to protect the wire insulation if you think its gonna be swinging and rubbing

You need a NM connector where the NM goes into the light on that removable plate. Ant your little tractor looks lonely that you did not use it to install the lights!

That lighting worked out nicely! When you refine your insulation, don't forget at the top of the walls behind/between the top structural components. In the video, there was light leaking from outside from the soffits and you'll not want that air infiltration during heating season.
Hey thanks Jim! Yes your right I still have to complete my soffit and facia this summer and as far as the open headers go that your talking about I plan to finish sealing those up next fall as I’ll have more time to do so and still am unsure of which direction I wanna go for sealing the headers up. Def needs to be done tho for next fall as I’m loosing heat through them as you’d expect. Thanks for the support!

Thanks Gary! The heater is working fantastic! I wasn’t sure if 80,000 BTU would be enough.. thought maybe I’d need 100,000BTU minimum but it works and keeps up just fine specially now that it’s insulated.. and my heat bill hasn’t went up much either which also tells me it’s been pretty efficient!

Can you flush mount these to a low flat ceiling like in most residential homes? They would be too low if hanged. Thanks.
Hey Jeff, no unfortunately you wouldn’t want to flush mount these lights as they get pretty warm on top with the powerful lighting module they have so they recommend hanging them at least 12-16” below the ceiling. They do offer lights that are a direct mount tho if you check their website.. they make awesome lights and high quality. Iv been very pleased with these lights in my shop 👍🏻
