We, the members of "Kolkata Weekend Shoots (KWS)" take immense pride in announcing the 2nd Annual Photography Exhibition of our photography group which is scheduled to be held from 9TH to 11TH SEPTEMBER, 2010 (2:00 PM to 8.00 PM) at Gaganendra Pradarshanshala, 1/1A, A.J.C. Bose Road,
Kolkata : 700 020 (Beside Nandan & Kolkata Information Center).
"Kolkata Weekend Shoots" or ˝KWS˝ as it is lovingly called by its members was born out of the enthusiasm of a few photo-crazy persons with some of them still there in the present community. Over the period of about three years, it has trudged a path full of petals and thorns alike. The young feet bled and soothed with time till they arrived at this junction. Now, its members have started getting recognition and winning awards in the photographic circles. Today we are a family of 80 members all very passionate about photography and every day we receive requests from people willing to join our group of photography lovers.
The 2nd Annual Photography Exhibition of "Kolkata Weekend Shoots" showcases photographs that have been taken by our members from the various weekend shoots we conducted in and around Kolkata.
The 2nd Annual Photography Exhibition of "Kolkata Weekend Shoots" will be attended by eminent personalities from the photographic fraternity and from other walks of life. The citizens of Kolkata will also be a major part of the attendees to this event.
